PSA: Beautiful Pieces, BUT not best for actual play. First thd field size of the Board is WAY too small for the Pieces and second the pawns just lack height. In combination with the elevation of the board you really need to lean over the board or stand up to see the position. The pieces are nicely sculpted and varied, one Flaw for playing Chess is the big shield on the back of King, Queen and Bishop - this doesn't make them easily distinguishable from each other viewed from behind. All-in-All: Great for a special playing Experience once in a While, displaying or keeping in The Box. For everyday play a nice set of Staunton figures is better suited.

Aaawesome Review, sweet! That's one Luxury Chess set , and I want it too ! It looks so so massive and bigger then the Replica who was made in Belgium! Poor looking figures especially the Queen! 🤔 So I don't know how long if it takes to wait but here to Bulgaria, I purchased the Belgium Version to play with my son ! But this one is Mega CoOl, but also is so too much expensive 🤔🤔🤔 400 $ is very much , for one father who takes 850$ for month + credit 🤔🙄 Maan I have to waiting it seems ! Oh man, that stinks! I'm sorry you got scammed. Facebook can be a little tricky sometimes with buying and selling. Although, I have a feeling for $35 it may have been the plastic chess set, unless it was strictly advertised as the resin set

No, at the time I was living in an apartment that didn't allow holes in the wall so I was using things like command strips. Now since I've moved to a new place, I have the wall mount more secured.

@@ReeledInReviews ow sh*t don't talk to me about command strips... I would not touch those again in a million years. They broke a rare Lord of the rings framed art piece that i had... Also same problem, i could not drill holes and the guy in the store said: put 10 of these on and it will never fall off ... 10 minutes later = disaster

And ikr, I literally put those strips all over the back of the wall mount and it still fell about three times! But props to the replica for holding up pretty well, there's only a faint scratch at the top of the blade

@@ReeledInReviews unfortunately it was ripped from glass pieces that ripped in to the art work. But yeah... I should have known better XD. I own a couple of united cutlery swords but i'm still missing a sting... Really on the fence between this one and the hobbit one from United cutlery

@@tomweyts oh that's so sad about the artwork! I've been checking out the United cutlery website and they have some pretty good stuff! I think their sting comes.woth a scabbard and the one from the Noble Collection does not, but apparently the scabbard fits both versions. I'll be getting more hobbit (movie) swords from The Noble Collection, but they don't have most of the swords from The Lord of the Rings movies like the other website does

Hi I was able to the harry potter chess and it came last night 😁 now my only problem I can't remember which way it said it need to be this way up on the box and it's now wrapped amd I really really don't want it to get damaged do u think it will matter which way the Box is ?? Thanks

Hello! I don't think it will matter too much. I'd say just be very careful when handling it. For example, place it lightly on the ground or wherever you are storing it and don't shake the box, things like that. Some pieces may have detached in the shipping process, like the red gemstone did on the board for me in the video, but they should be glued back together easily. Good luck, I hope it turns out well!

Hi, I wanted to ask you a question about your necklace. On the bottom, is there like a screw that keeps everything together? For my necklace, there is a thin bar that keeps the wand and circle attached to the rest of the pendant but it keeps falling out from the bottom. I heard it supposed to be a high quality necklace but I could never take it out of the case or wear it without a risk of it falling apart. I’m not sure if there was a screw or something that fell out and I could never find an answer.

Hello! So sorry to hear about your necklace. I just checked mine and it looks like there is a very tiny indentation at the bottom, however, it's so small I honestly can't tell if it's a screw or not. If there is a screw, it's probably to allow the circle the ability to spin around. The only advice I can think to offer would be to contact the manufacturer you got it from and ask for a replacement, or perhaps you can find a tool small enough to fit in the indentation and try and tighten the screw to stop everything from falling apart. I hoped this helped!

@@ReeledInReviews thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, I think the screw is lost since there is nothing to stop the necklace from falling apart, if there is one. I’m not sure why mine falls apart. The manufacturer won’t take it back because I got years ago. Either way thank you for the response. It’s the closest thing I got for advice since I got it. Either way, I got a great pendant in a case. Just can’t take it out or wear it.

Thank you! I personally use it for display only. So far it hasn't discolored but it does seem to scratch easily when I remove and put it back into its stand. I'd say as long as you aren't wearing it while doing activities such as swimming or things that would make you sweat, it may be okay to use

I personally only use it for display, but it should function as an actual brooch! If you are worried about damage, maybe you can add a safety pin underneath the cloak to hold it together and use the brooch as the main, decorative eye catcher!

Is this set plastic? If so then for everyone else who wanna paint and custom do the cheaper set for 70 dollar. I got the 70 dollar set and bought all painting I needed and did a Gryffindor vs Slytherin style chess. The 70 dollar set is identical to this set to every detail. I painted according to medieval style looking colours. Silver/metal knight armor. Red painting on the shield with gold colour to highlight gryffindor and same but silver and green for Slytherin. All in all it took me 1-2 weeks to paint it all and this was my first miniture/chess painting and I spent 100 dollar with all colour painting and the chess set in total. Just buy the cheaper one and paint it however you want.

That sounds like a great craft idea, however, I have to disagree that both sets look identical. I have the $70 set and you can definitely see the price difference. These are not made of plastic but hard resin. One day I'd like to find one made out of marble or stone but this is a pretty good collectors item if that's what you're in to

Ahh well that answer my question then and now I understand why there is a price difference. Perhaps with the resin the design is more noticable with small details compared to the 70 dollar version? If that's the case then its a better 3D machine at work. Either way I highly recommend you painting the cheaper version and once you'r done I promise you it will look like a chess set worth 400 dollar. @@toamszkozak8822 that could be a possibility. Though we did also see Sabine reaching out in a typical force grab gesture, so there may be something there. Also Shin could have been trying to make Sabine feel weak. I have a feeling Shin's character is explosive and self-perceived as powerful. Either way, I have a feeling this might create some tension between Ahsoka and Sabine. So, that will also be interesting to explore.
