This was the northern entry and checkpoint to West-Berlin in the times before the wall came down. The space to build an Autobahn was limited as was the space in West-Berlin in general. That‘s probably the reason for the narrow lanes.

Great work synchronising the time lapse with the music kicking in just after 4:20 (nice...) You would appreciate the music video to Star Guitar by the Chemical Brothers I think!

Thank you. Wikipedia has lots of road sign graphics. I download them and modify them with graphic editing software. I use paint.net. It's a freeware but has lots of nice and useful features.

Due to heavy protests from environmentalists, the section running through Tegeler Forst was built as bundesstrasse, not autobahn. The white-on-blue signage however makes you think you're on the autobahn. It looks a bit like one party cheated the other there

The new Samuel de Champlain Bridge is the widest asymmetric cable-stayed bridge in the world that uses two planes of cables. The New SF Bay Bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge, two completely different bridge constructions, you're comparing apples and oranges..

For the record: the full name of the bridge (Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge) is mentioned at 0:39. Would have been just too long for the title.
