Beliefs are delusions. No beliefs = no delusions! Fortunately, beliefs are completely unnecessary for Salvation! Anyone can be 'Saved/Enlightened'!; "Born again" into the state of Unconditional Love = Salvation = Enlightenment = Heaven = Immortality "Heaven is at hand!" - Jesus Here! Now! Anything else is Hell! This is how YOU Know you are Saved/Enlightened/Mystic! Unconditional Love is ALWAYS Known by It's Unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (Charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith... ALWAYS! The display of these Virtues is how others know that you are Saved! "I and the Father are One!" "As I Am so can you be!" "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." -John 15:5 One with Christ = One with God! "What a man loves, he is. If he loves a stone he is that stone, if he loves a person he is that person, if he loves God - nay, I durst not say more; were I to say, he is God, he might stone me. I do but teach you the scriptures." - Meister Eckhart It is the LIFE of the truly Saved displaying the Virtues of Unconditional Love that is the Gospel, the Light in the darkness, not regurgitating scriptures!! “Your task is not to seek for Love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi

I’m very big on agreements with friendships, even unspoken. Jesus is a good example sha - John, the beloved, then the 3, then the 12 and on and on. Depth varies.

On feeling the presence of God, I remember the story of Thomas after the resurrection. Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen. But even more blessed are those who believe without seeing." It's easy to believe if you've had a spiritual experience. But your reward becomes greater when you believe without seeing any spiritual manifestations. Also we all have the Holy Spirit within us causing things to happen and it seeming like coincidences. Maybe if we begin to acknowledge these coincidences, we'd notice how mightily God curates our realities. Esther is an example of a book where God was not explicitly mentioned but you could see his handprint all over the entire book. There was no spiritual encounter but his providence was evident. Not sure if this helps but yh that's what I think.

hi !! i decided to give a go at your questions: what does having oil in your lamp look like practically? the parable of the 12 virgins was meant to be a parallel to the gates of heaven, so i'd say it has to do with our mentality in our day to day lives as Christians. are we doing just what is required of us to "make the cut" or are we genuinely dedicated to the cause? i'd say the women who brought extra oil wanted to ENSURE they were there when the bridegroom was ready and the women who did not didn't even give it a second thought and simply grabbed what was expected of them. i'd argue that they could have even went to get more oil before they fell asleep, yet they felt comfortable enough to sleep and risking the chance of being unprepared. so overall, though they brought their lamps they didn't care to stock their oil. i think this parable challenges us to ask ourselves, am i simply doing what meets the criteria of following God or am i actively dedicated to the cause? am i simply going to church or am i actively studying the Bible? so practically speaking, are you cruising or are you intentional in your walk with God? regarding feeling the presence of God - comparison is the thief of joy! each and every relationship with God is different and if we seek God He will make Himself known to us. don't worry about where anyone else is in their relationship with God nonetheless compare them. by no means does someone else's experiences with God dictate the condition of yours. what does it mean that God is the "God of truth?" well its as simple as the fact that God IS truth; it is impossible for God to lie because what He speaks becomes so. i hope these answers helped you and don't feel embarrassed about having questions about your faith! God bless you and i wish you the best in all of your endeavors :)

Can completely relate. I would recommend that people try using a gratitude calendar If they cant get around journaling. You put up the calendar on a wall you always see/ walk by. That could help writing in it everyday. This has helped me stay more consistent with writing down things I'm grateful for

😂😂😂 this thing ehnn. I remember commenting on the earlier episode about going back to swimming and I listened to yday’s episode telling myself same. However, today’s episode is the truth because I also use a govt swimming class and the waitlist is ridiculous. I haven’t gone back to swim in over 2 months now. It’s so frustrating when there’s no constant practice except you want to do private lessons that are way more expensive 😢
