I got asked; "what small thing makes your day." And I immediately thought of this. I saw this video when Amd. McRaven gave the speech for the first time. Everyday since then, when I woke up. I made my bed. This small piece of life changing advice.... made a bigger impact that anyone could've estimated.

I believe in making a bed not only for something cozy to climb into at the end of the night but if your sheets are on the floor you are giving bugs a bridge to climb into bed with you. So make that bed and make sure you do not have any unwanted guest with you in that bed. Thank you for service and everything you have done for America.

If a navy seal can teach guys that making your bed and learning how to cook and clean helps improve on your life than it goes to show every dude should learn basic life skills. I mean i'm glad i learned it at a young age and don't say i'm a man so i don't need to do it. Like ever since after high school been learning how to cook and clean and all sort of stuff and it does help a lot to understand where you food is coming from and know that wants you start to clean your room you realize how dirty you were to the point bugs will come in without you noticing. Heck it also helps with your dating life to i see so many guys be stuck with toxic women cause the women can cook and clean while the man cannot.

When I was at primary school, I was often home sick and every day, my mum would sit me beside the bed and make the bed so it felt fresh, and somehow more comfortable. Like in hospital when some lovely person, remakes the bed so it’s all fresh, it is something that makes you feel better. So why wouldn’t you do it for yourself everyday, so every evening you get the same pleasure?
