There was actually this joke back then about Happy Around saying three Happy and one that is not so Happy Around since Rei's previous seiyuu Shizaki Kanon isn't really a great dancer plus her heart and enthusiasm aren't there kind of like she's just there for contractual obligations. Just watch Happy Around! performances during Kanon's time in the group, she's visibly uncomfortable performing Happy Around! songs live since she doesn't have the kind of energy that the rest of the girls have. but now they can no longer make that joke since the one who replaced her the lovely Irie Maiko is an actual upgrade and she's on a whole different level regarding technicality, vocal range, piano skills, and even dancing skills. Though I really appreciate Kanon's talent and contributions to Happy Around I kinda feel that her overall voice didn't really match Happy Around's Image and Tone since the rest of the girls sings higher so it's a logical progression that they will get someone who sings higher as well. Cause, when you mentioned the name Happy Around the image that will come to mind, is something Happy, Bright, Cheerful, and Full of energy so the voice that will be needed to match the overall image of the group is something higher and powerful and for that, Mai-chan fits perfectly as Rei. And for someone who watched Happy Around's performances at Bushiroad's 15th Anniversary last year November 13, 2022, Happy Around's 4th Live last March 5, 2023, and Happy Around! x Lyrical Lily joint Live last October 9 2023 I'm saying this, Mai-chan has a wider vocal range. With such great power, control, and phrasing she has no problem singing Happy Around's previous material since her voice is higher she indeed breathes new life into Rei and Happy Around not only their vocal harmony but their choreography improved as well since Mai-chan's inclusion into the group. Anyways, speaking of Mai-chan, I actually had a great interaction with her on Twitter. About a couple of months ago, during Mai-chan's birthday last February 6, I posted a greeting on Twitter, and she replied last March 20 2023 with this lovely greeting card thing. she even apologized that it took her so long to reply, and I just said it was okay. I really appreciate it, I'm happy, and I really love her. Mai-chan really is such a sweetheart despite her busy schedule she still manages to reply and really appreciates her fans. I already admire her talent as a classical pianist, singer, and dancer. and after this, it only made me admire and love her even more.

@moserkarl041 In short, Kanon never loved Rei and never enjoyed being in Happy Around! she's just put there to fulfil a contractual obligation. She was only cast in Happy Around! Because there's no one available that time and they are short when it comes to workforce, that's why they cast her even though her overall voice didn't really match Happy Around's overall theme. Actually, it was early 2022. Kanon has been out in Happy Around! But it was only on August 14, 2022, when the news of her departure has been confirmed. I can go on a whole day explaining why and all the things that happened, but the short version of it is alls well and ends well for both parties involved. Besides Mai-chan, the new seiyuu of Rei really loves her character Rei and really enjoys being in Happy Around, which is nice and as I sai when it comes to vocal range, piano skills and even dancing skills Mai-chan is an actual upgrade and since her inclusion into the group is when the name Happy Around! Becomes Happy Around!.

@moserkarl041 And speaking of Brand New World, they will rerecord it for sure since they already rerecorded 3 Happy Around! songs like Cosmic CoaSTAR, TRANCE TOURS, and Happy Music that are previously recorded by Kanon but are rerecorded with Mai-chan's voice, so Band New World will be the next to have the same treatment.

So by your logic then that means Shirokane Rinko from Roselia in BanG Dream! was already been dead when her original seiyuu Akesaka Satomi was replaced by Shizaki Kanon? Cause make no mistake Akeko is an industry veteran and they replaced her with that amateur? Also, a word of advice move on! It's been a whole year already, and no matter how much you bitchin' about it, Kanon ain't coming back. Also if you think that the new seiyuu of Rei Mai-chan (Irie Maiko) is inferior to that pitchy princess of yours, then you should have an ear check-up because your ears are not functioning well cause when it comes to vocal range and even piano and dancing skills Mai-chan is an actual upgrade. Not only that but since her inclusion in the group, their vocal harmony and choreography have improved as well. And this is coming from a Rei super fan who shares the same birthday and blood type as her and as a musician who understands music and not because I simp a particular seiyuu or keep holding to nostalgia cause original doesn't always mean better.
