Bro when I first saw this I loved it and I even bought the music and score so I can do the solo and ensemble with it thank you for posting this if you didn’t I would have never seen it

Besides the 2nd movement being pretty repetitive and dragged on a lot, this is amazing.

Yes I definitely agree. An asset to the limited tuba concerto literature for sure - but I don’t know how the extra repeats in M2 got past the editors!

I so want to play this in my senior year as a tuba… my idea is to form a solid section with a possible section leader after I graduate This would be great with the mix between slow ballads, fast upbeat moments, and a treat overall

Incredible! A transcription of A House Is Not a Home in her voice would be awesome too!

I am getting tired of tuba solos being essentially the same. Bump, bump blast, fart, Squeak.
@TylerRuhe3 ай бұрын
I can concur with you. The tuba should sound full and resonant almost like a bass playing pizzicato instead of a sick old hippo burping and 🐘farting the entire time.

Played that chart several times in the Army band program. In this recording, that's gotta be Dick Shearer playing lead. Loudest trombone player on the planet!

if you guys love tuba & euph quartets or quintets, search for “バリチューバ(Barituba)” on youtube. they’re quite popular in japan, actually.
