What a delicate, gorgeous and brutal song. I can't listen to this without crying. Its about acceptance without resentment which is so difficult after you've made a commitment to someone and thought they were committed to you. I'm divorced after 32 years and have since been in a long relationship and now I'm listening to this again, trying to find the courage to be this person.
