Very nice. He did a grrat job. I built my own Strat out of parts. I had a mexican body and purchased a warmoth neck with maple fretboard and maple neck quartersawn. 22 xtra jumbo stainless frets. 3 EMG SA pickups. They are dead quiet and you cant be shocked because there is no ground because the pickups don't need a ground.. I love that part and they do everything from cleans to high gain. They do need a battery. 9 volt, but most things run om batteries in todays day and age. The battery lasts for months if you remember to unplug yojr guitar after each use. I love Gibson scale guitars too. That was a great idea. I might have to get a warmoth conversion neck the next time.. Best regards from south central Indiana. USA. The heartland... Tim.

I just found your website and I was reading your reviews and saw the review for this klon clone. So I had to check out the demo here. Very cool. I liked the intro song. I don't know who it was, but it was cool. I'm more of a high gain 70s and 80s player. My friend plays cooperate gigs like you described. He plays loads of weddings and such and he gets paid pretty good here in the US. That klon seems very transparent. It has more gain than I thought it would. Very cool. It would be interesting to see what it would be or sound like boosted with a clean boost for even more gain because more is more. 😂 Very cool man .. Regards from South Central Indiana. USA, the heartland.. Tim..

I purchased the all solid wood copy of a D-100 spending around $1500.00 and I was so amazed by the quality and build. First off do not by the cheap laminated copies, spend the money for a all solid wood copies because these guitars are ones that they put more time and effort into also they are all real Spruce tops, real solid one piece Mahogany necks, real solid Rosewood back and sides, better tuners and a will come with a real bone nut and saddle also real Abalone inlays. I did the setup myself and the intonation and action is spot on. I also for reference own a real Martin HD-28 Deluxe VTS Custom Top as for tone comparison to the D-100 copy and I am sad to say it is not as good as that HD-28 but I only paid $1500.00 not $4400.00 also I will never have a chance in my life to own a Martin D-100 or even see one up close. There are only 50 of the real D-100 ever made and now they are selling tor $140,000.00 plus and that is out of my reach totally.

Excellent amp for gigging guitarists, and I was attracted to the light weight, having wrist and back issues trying to lug gear around. One you're playing on stage with a band, it sounds like any other Deluxe Reverb, and I have a few since the '70s.

I've got a pedal board with the PockRock and two pedals on (separate overdrive and distortion, because feet are easier than hands when playing. Don't need a separate tuner). I use it when just going to the rehearsal rooms to muck about with mates and make a noise. Going straight into the mixing desk. Sometimes we let the little drum machine join in too :) It's totally worth £28. I'll have to check out the article later.

@gigsandguitars69219 ай бұрын
Dislikes? The built in tune is horrific, the "craftsmanships" inside on the bracing isn't the best, also the ethical side about it, e.g. how they Made a guitar this cheap etc.

The material doesn't cost that much. It is spruce and indian rosewood after all...they are cheap. Martin is a brand. Youbpay for the brand. Here you pay for craftsmanship. Didn't you liked the sound?

Thanx for your attempt ...still I would have expected a true cab miced coming at some point to judge ... we all know remembering sounds is like remembering colours .. what is your personal experience with the cab sim? Does it sound alike in comparison to the "a Marshall 4X12 cabinet with an sm57 Microphone "? (whatever kind of speaker combination this might be ... I have several Marshall 4x12 real world cabs and they all sound very differently ...) All I can tell from your video is: it sounds ok to me. At least this ... ok ...
@gigsandguitars692111 ай бұрын
I was going to do a comparison, however, the challenge is getting the same Mic, cab, speakers and mic placement. Will they ever sound the same? No I don't think so. What it does do great is allow me to quickly use "Real Amp" in my workflow, swap out cabs and mic's without much hassle. However, I understand your point, I will keep it in mind for next time! 🤘
