Yes. This happens to most HL tanks running on sand.

Yo is this the pro version or standard version? I also had one the standard version and wanted to try play it on sand, is it ok? Or it will damaged the tracks?

Youll be fine in the sand, just clean it afterwards and dont try to do pivot turns too much in the sand or you might throw a track. I run mine in the sand with no issues with both metal and plastic tracks. Plastic tracks are easier to deal with though. However I'm curious what tracks he has in this video too. I dont have any kv type tanks.

@DarrenDavai335 You should be ok just dont pivot turn hard in the sand or if youre afraid of hurting the gears you can turn pivot steering off and when you turn at a dead stop only one track will turn

How's is this in comparison to their is-2? I am very interested in this, but know that the lower hull is not fully metal like the Is-2. Is there a noticeable difference between the two? if the taigen is not as sturdy or nice as their IS-2 lower, I was considering getting the CNC henglong tiger lower hull and pairing it with the plastic upper hull.

Taigen tanks are sturdy. Good quality build. I have no issues with this tank and my other Taigen Tanks. If you're asking about the overall quality, and performance, they all run great.

You mean one of the wheel is up? I think there was something stuck on that wheel during the 45 degree climb. I didn't notice that till now. lol.

What’s your favorite tank? I’m looking to get into the hobby… thinking of getting the heng long Sherman as a starter, seems like the most afordable option, and not to mention it’s my favorite tank. What would you recommend?

HL Sherman tank is a good choice and I recommend this for beginners. I weathered mine and it looks really good. My favorite tank in my collection is the Merkava Tank due to it's design. It's a massive tank.

I wonder why the Kv does so well in the sand where as the Is-2 really dropped the ball haha. Do you think there is a way to improve IS-2 sand performance?

IS-2 is Taigen metal version and is very heavy. Heavier than Henglong tanks. Weight could be the reason but I'm not sure.

Nice t34, I'm an rc tank guy as well. Does this one in the video have plastic tracks? I was asking because I know my tanks with plastic tracks do better in sand than the tanks I have that have metal tracks.

All of my tanks have metal tracks. Some of them tanks with metal tracks. It's just heavy if you have metal wheels and tracks.

tried this with my metal gearbox/tracks upgraded m1a2 from heng long, although on much finer sand and it did NOT!!! like it, all of the sand got caught in the drive sprocket on the rear and it ended up throwing a track

I wanted to buy this offroad military truck to carry my Professional Edition Leopard 2A6 Snow Camo, as it looks cool and detailed. However, despite its appearance, I heard from other KZbinr RC like Tomley RC that its engine is pretty underpowered to go through rugged obstacles like grass and rough soil. From the looks of it, it looks more suitable to carry lighter 1/16 vehicles like the WPL halftrack tank, the Hummer or the Stuart tank through rough terrains. Imo, a more heavier and solid offroad military truck like the HG-P802 truck along with its trailer (HG-P806) is good to carry heavier 1/16 MBT or WW2 tanks, but both truck and trailer are sold separately and they are expensive, more so x10 than the WPL truck.

Those HG trucks are 1/12 scale and carry 1/16 tanks easily.

Wären die Antriebszähne außen an der Kette wie bei den Modernen Fahrzeugen, wäre das Problem nicht. Wobei Frontantrieb mit flexiblem Kettenspanner am Heck natürlich im Sand klasse ist.

psst, mirrors are mounted wrong, the flat side is the one with the glass in it and goes towards the back of the tank .
