I cannot believe I happened upon this video. That is our EXACT washer. We've had it for a long time and about 9 months ago I removed the front seal (the metal thing is a pain! You're right about that!) but I've never been able to figure out where the drain thing is! Thank you!

Yeah I did it the front seal method the last time and when the wife told me it was time to check that again on cleaning out socks and breast pads from the washer I was like oh crap...until I saw this. I knew there was a better way!!

I looked for videos to do this job for quite some time yesterday. The door of my washing machine was locked, and none of the "fixes" were applicable in some way or another. Your video above literally saved me, and I was able to remove the filter and put it back together. I am very sore today but happy to be doing laundry again. Well, I never thought I'd say I was happy doing laundry. ;) Thank you for your video; it absolutely saved me.

Thank you 10x over for this video my filter was in the front but I was strong enough to take it apart from the back & it was FULL. The hardest part was getting the back metal part back on but you saved me hundreds of dollars. You’re awesome 😎

Everything went to plan, however, the filter will not go back in! We lined it up the right way, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going in far enough to thread back on?? Any ideas?

Could there be something trapped in the trap? I can't smoothly pull it out like you did. Something is catching that won't allow me to to remove the trap. Maybe a nail or a screw?
