This place is actually an awesome rental on the beach. but until they update to digital locks changeable for each renter i would not rent it. We were robbed in the middle of the night while sleeping. They are using outdated realtor locks with a key inside of it and they don't change codes. If you want to check, the code it is 0402. Everyone knows it including the cleaning people and the fish guy.

I stayed here an airbnb, and that was very creepy, and Erie . Sits at the top of the mountain if you are hiking this is perfect. For my girls trip this was anxiety and misleading very dark small roads nestled on the mountains do your research before renting

According to San Diego County Homes, 1986 tax records show that the loan amount for the home when Dan purchased it was $400,000. After the murders, the home was sold in 1990 for $1.1 million. In 2014, KGTV San Diego reported it was on the market for $2.1 million, and in 2018, according to Zillow, it was sold once again, this time $2.2 million, to its current owner, the sixth since Dan Broderick Apparently people WANT to live here since it increased in value from $400,000 in 1986 to $1.1 million in 1990. This area is historic and was developed around 1917 for The Pan California Expo. This house was built around 1935. It is NOT upper middle class like most people say in the media. It as average. La Jolla IS the place which is VERY EXPENSIVE and where Betty and Dan lived and raised their kids. The media has it all wrong, again. Another bit of info.....this is a few blocks away from where Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Vercase's murderer, lived in Hillcrest, CA.
