You should hold on the clutch, the rev it and release the clutch while it’s at max rpm :)

For the OP and all the others when using LC you want the revs to bounce only while stationary, if you start going and the revs are still bouncing your are ridding the clutch for too long and should work on releasing it sooner. Now you also have to be comfortable with the front tire coming up. LC will let the tire hover around 1 to 2 feet of the ground it will kill power if it goes above that. So just pin it and know how to ride the clutch. Again that’s on my sk1rr and my Z H2. Other bikes with less or older electronics you will need to master the clutch slip and wheeling.
