This may mean different things for different people, but I think we can mostly agree that we use it for things that hit us unexpectedly. The heater and dishwasher break at the same time. Those kind of moments where maybe you don’t have emergency funds anymore or it’s just something smaller than an emergency and now you are covered. I just recently used mine to fix my mom’s sprinkler system; it is not an emergency to water the grass but I also just installed the grass so I didn’t want to lose money on it. I’m not sure if this helps my friend. I hope I did.

Good explanation I wasn't sure either. That happens to me all the time my car AC broke suddenly and phone is messed up at the same time.

Thanks for sharing this. It does become overwhelming. It is not that i don’t want to be with them; I just don’t want to be responsible and in control of their safety and daily needs every single second. I need to stop feeling guilty…I love spending time with them. I just don’t like cooking for them 😂
