Greetings from Pasadena, Wonderful work! My wife and i took the tour recently of the telescopes on Mount Wilson, which sit up above us on the mountain. Such history up there. I flew my DJI up near there last year, though you can't get too close because they've got super strong radio towers. Your observatory is incredible!!

Beautiful, please make the images last longer in the next video as I like to watch each of them carefully. By making them change in such fast succession you're preventing the viewer from fully experiencing those images in all of their detail. I'd say a good 20 seconds for each image. Of course you can always pause the video, but the music is very soothing and appropriate too.

pictures of the sun look like something you'd see under a microscope, perhaps we are like microbes to giant beings seeing us through their microscopes as well

The Moon photos are not very sharp. Too much deconvolution or some other bad post-processing.

Very nice. Well done. I have a Celestron as well. Im always interested in lunar observations. In Northeast, USA. When they arent making it rain, I get some good, clear observations. Winter and early spring are the best. Heat distortion is pretty much zero then. And the bugs arent trying to eat me alive.

Your images are fantastic. I am also a astrophotographyer. I have found a technique that allows you to remove the atmosphere from the moon. If you would like me to show you what i can do please get in contact. As i feel your images would bring out so much more detail from the terrain below the atmosphere. I know this sounds ridiculous but im being serious. Please get in touch

Since the largest earth based telescope can only see an object the size of two football stadiums, you aren’t going to see an object the size of a golf cart. On the other hand, the clarity and sharpness of these images is fantastic.

Tell that to Alan Bean… as he thinks you can run air conditioning in a vacuum to keep the LEM cool, and of course to all those Apollo / NASA cult followers who think unprotected commercially available Kodak film can survive in a Torr 10(-11) vacuum 😊

Film works just fine in a vacuum. Air conditioning works just fine in a spacecraft, just like it works in a submarine.

@@Sherwoody Just saying something doesn’t make it true and you haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about. It doesn’t. Look up offgasing on Wikipedia and come back when you know something. The old photographic spy satellites that circled Earth very high up needed protection. The 1965 Lunar Orbiter had protection. In an UH vacuum the film would have just off gassed away. Zero protection in those Hasselblads. Air Conditioning in a vacuum 😂
