There’s something about this Route theme that I really just love. The lead melodies by themselves are melancholic but the chord and the beat are so, so upbeat and happy. I live for this kind of music. Especially at 2:00

I love how drought and flood give off different vibes but encapsulate their respective disasters perfectly. The drought is slow and foreboding. Not immediately deadly but unbearable and torturous as the sun beats down on all of Hoenn. You have to stop Groudon because in time resources will start to run out and people will start dying, but its so difficult to move forward in this heat. Flood on the other hand lets you know that things are getting bad NOW. A flood in a coastal region could swallow up most of the land in a matter of hours and you need to stop Kyogre FAST. The drought theme is slow and tortured while the flood theme is panicked and urgent.

I used to trade and battle all the time in 2017-2019, but then my family moved. I traded away some of my favorite Pokemon for reasons I do not remember. Everything relating to the internet, be it trading, fighting or otherwise, is simply no longer supported. The service has been discontinued. I've completed the game and postgame, captured every Legendary I could. So little remains. It all feels so...empty, now.
