Nice riding I was just there last month love the new layout the only jump I had trouble clearing was the big triple by the big metal awning. I was 4th gear wide open on a 150sx and I barely cased it

You are definitely making progress. You would rip on a Varg because you would have all the power you need instantly and not have to worry about the fact that you don’t know how to use the clutch to get to where the power is, which is killing you coming out of the corners. I see you at least give it a quick stab to get the revs higher for a second at 3:12 but you could literally hold the throttle wide open and then gradually feed the power in with the clutch so that you can clear that table. Which I have to do on my 125. But not on my Alta! Keep up the progression 👍

Vintage racing at first seems like just racing on old bikes. But guess what ? Bikes don't get old !! They ride the same now essentially as when they were new. You know what gets old ?? That's right, YOU do !! But amazingly, you are not as light as you were then, you have no stamina like you had then, you have comparitively little riding skill anymore, and there is NOTHING you can ever do to make it like it was back in the day. When you get old, your whole life as a youth is reduced to just thoughts in your head. Still .... I love looking back. It makes me smile.

Funny how some of the worst looking crashes dont affect the rider at all, but tipping over in a straight line going 10 mph can be deadly lol

Would you say Barona is a little friendlier for a begginer than Pala's novice track ? I wanna get my girlfriend out there - but Pala's too much.
@chadskelton77384 ай бұрын
Barona has some steep lips... Some steeper than Pala. I would say Cahuilla's vet track is probably the most friendly when it comes to rolling stuff

Glad Yer OK bud…I Learned How to Not Crash Casing a Jump….if this Ever happens Again,Just Before you Land…Hit Both Brakes & Hold Em til you Finish the Landing…Also Stand While your Landing & Stay Standing !!!…you went Over the Bars because You were Sitting !!…the Weight of your body Compressed the Suspension And it Threw you Over,when your Standing & Braking…the Suspension Will Compress But Won’t Rebound When you Land as Much as it Would if you Don’t Hold the Brakes All the way Through the Landing,I’ve Crashed that way a Few Times but Learned How Not to Go Over from what I Explained…Trust Me…It Works !🦾🤘🏁

Dude at 1:57 is just asking to get clobbered..you NEVER stand that close to the track for ANY reason. In my 30+ years racing, officiating and announcing I've seen too many flaggers, photographers and spectators get hit by out of control bikes doing stupid s**t like that. You can get just as good of an angle for your pics on TOP of that side of the track. (And if you do get hit being stupid, you cannot sue the track.) That said, track looks awesome, I need to get my YZ125 out there someday!

Way way too soft of suspension. I ride a 21 kx450. 3rd gear easy. I can short that jump and soak it up. AHM suspension done right

@TRGP33111 ай бұрын
Odd as it sounds, as soon as you realize you’re coming up short, level out/pitch the bike so the front wheel hits first. This will keep the bike from kicking you over the bar

Do you remember what route yall took to make it loop around, thinking about doing this route one day. Just not sure how exactly to navigate and what trail systems

Dang I used to live right by this track and would hit that jump in 4th myself. Should stiffen the suspension on your bike some.
