I have this printer: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw but I can't figure out how to print in draft mode. Is this an option with this printer? If so, how do I do that? When I go to print, I click on the "Paper/Quality" tab and under "Print Quality" the only option there is "Image REt3600" but no "Draft" or "Ecno-mode" option. I've scoured the HP website and internet and can't seem to find an answer about this anywhere. When I call HP's number, they just send me back to their website.

Hello, it does seem like HP discounted the Economode in the newer HP printers but you can just select plain and the printer should print just fine.

I don’t know what you mean by old cartridge number and name but the cartridge name and part number for this printer is the 148A W1480A or the 148X W1480X.

For 3000 papers cartridge is over .after filling catridge its not coming properly..i called to cx care they buy new cartridge cost is 12000 around it will print for 3000 pages said..worst product

When I scan or print, I have yellow on one of the sides of my copies and scans. I have cleaned the glass (both the strip and main glass), but the yellow stays. This occurs if I'm printing on the main glass or using the document feeder. Any ideas what is going on? I have the 6515 identical to the one in this video. It doesn't appear when I print from the computer. Any idea why it would only appear in scans and copies?

Hello please try cleaning the top part of the scanner glass like the cover the strip and the whole white plastic if that doesn’t work your printer will need service if you are in the Oklahoma area we would be happy to look at the printer thank you so much!

Hello, one way to remove the tray after it’s stuck is to try putting more effort to remove the tray if that doesn’t work the check if the cartridges are blocking its path and try to push them down with something long if you are unable to then your printer may need to be taken apart by a service technician if you leave in the Oklahoma area we would be happy to assist you with that

Yes you can use the true image toner cartridge in your printer but we wouldn’t recommend using it as our own Onyx Brand toner cartridge would be a better and cheaper option but you may still use the true image toner thank you for choosing Onyx Tutorials

I watched your video and THANK YOU!!!! Y HAVE a Canon PIXMA G7020 printer, identical to the one on your table in the video! To make a long story short, I tried printing a comic strip that looked HORRIBLE!!!! It had streaks of yellow and black! I did the "Cleaning" process 4 times. Now, I had yellow and black inks showing, still, but no cyan or magenta. So, I did the "Deep Cleaning." I had the same results. Yellow, black but no cyan or magenta. NOW...I tried one more thing that the online Canon manual suggested and did the "Ink Flush." By this point, I had given-up! I started the 8 minute "Ink Flush" process. A short while after the process had finished, I printed the comic strip again and IT PRINTER PERFECTLY!!!! If I had NOT watched your video, I would have given-up and bought 2 new printer heads! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

The printer was released May 15, 2019 the replacement model for the m479 is the HP Color LaserJet Pro 4301fdw but I would recommend the discontinued m479 over this new model

put a piece of paper in new machine to print test page.. printed fine but papper jam error came on. Added paper withing spec, sheets loose same thing. Looked by opening all compartments, removed toner cartridges, put back together. Printer fault remains... brand new printer

Hello Bob! Happy Friday! You are not alone, this issue is very common you might have removed a jam in the past but a small piece of paper is still stuck in there I would highly recommend going to your nearest Canon certified dealer I hope you can resolve your problem soon!

you cannot clean the inside you would have to remove the entire glass if you need it cleaned on the inside we would recommend going to your nearest Epson dealer

Would have been great if you discussed how to clean the underside of the glass. I have some type of buildup of a powdery substance right above one of the scanner parts on the left side of the ADF near the top. The top of the scanning part need to come off to clean the underside. Thanks

Hello Viewer! You cannot clean the inside of the scanner glass. You will need to take it to a HP service center and they will be able to remove the glass and clean it. ~Onyx

@@onyximagingokc Thanks so much for answering my question. I was able to get the top off enough to get under the ADF part of the glass and clean it with a microfiber cloth. Wasn't able to get the cover or top part off as one piece/hinge to come out or it all would have come off and made it easier. I've had this printer for 8 years and maybe it will take 8 more til it gets that powdery substance built up again.

Hello Viewer! Make sure the printer is turned on and not printing. Then, open the scanner unit and check if the print head is in the home position on the right. If not, turn off the printer and gently slide the print head to the right. Press the stop button on the printer to move the print head to the replacement position. If it does not move, you may need to turn off the printer and turn it back on. If you still get an error message that the cartridge is not recognized, you may need to get it diagnosed at your nearest Epson Service Center.

Great instruction video. When I heard you first say “remove the belt assembly” my heart started all crazy. Then when I saw it was as easy as the toner cartridges, well…what a relief. This just removed all my anxiety from messing up my printer. Thank you for the video. 😊

i was getting the drum error, cleaned the wire, did the reset, same error. looked inside and the farthest led printer head, or the piece that hangs down with the white edges is broken at the hinge on the left side. Is this something that can be ordered or a shop repair only?

Dave, We would fully recommend taking your printer in since there is a piece broken. The internal parts of the printer are very delicate and even our certified technicians have broke things on occasion. Save your time and frustration, get an estimate on your repair to see if it's worth it in your opinion. We hope this helps. - ONYX TEAM
