She got screwed on DWTS because she was seen as a professional dancer and not some amateur. She was likely the best dancer on that season but it's not about dancing, it's a popularity contest as proven by Bobby Bones' win.

Anna was way too high. How do you possibly stan her. She's a con artist. Her partner desvered better. She didn't. She never should have been on the show. She's oniy famous for scamming people. Reggie may not have been the best dancer, but at least he seeemed to want to be there and want to put in the work. Same cannot be said for Anna.

To be honest, I don’t know why so many people say Nev should’ve won, Kaitlyn deserved her win 1000%. Nev’s journey was just too easy, plus, he already had actual ballroom dance experience. Even with that, almost all his dances felt the same, he was good but not great, perfect for 2nd place. Meanwhile, Kaitlyn first faced discrimination from ABC because they didn’t want bachelorettes competing on DWTS, only bachelors and had to wait 5 years to get her season. She had also always been a long-time super fan during a show. Then, right at the start of her season she faced a terrible foot injury and still danced week after week like it was nothing. And on top of that, she suffered a slump mid-season that she actually managed to come out of stronger and better which was insanely impressive. She went from getting a 7 on a Paso to getting a perfect score 3 weeks later on her Paso redemption. With that, she ended the season with five consecutive perfect scores, the mirrorball was rightfully hers (and Artem’s who deserved it too).
