What's the best wait to paint a machine without painting over existing decals (decals are writing, not square decals, so hard to mask)

It makes my eyes watta when English people say ‘aye-watter’ like a slack-jawed yank. I think Darwin (and anyone she’s with half a brain) would think that an Englishman emulating an American in ANY way would be akin to devolution and a massive step backwards. 🤮 That’s NOT how ‘Iwata’ is pronounced in England OR Japan,

If I was the customer I'd kick that back, the fish eyes on the side panels black stripe is unacceptable, can't believe you didn't fix it when it first happened.

What do you do with the bare metal spots after your filler work is done I have a issue right now before high build. Blend in some more epoxy? I am using 5310 dtm from TAMCO for HB primer after panel is straight. Just sucks i broke through in some areas.

I had an automotive "painter" do an absolute abhorrent job on my vw t3 syncro, hid his bad job with pain. totally wrecked me after spending my hard earned money to get my van worse then when I gave it to him. You and others on youtube have empowered me to give it a go myself. Thank you.

This video is perfect. I was respraying a long bit of trim and it was all going so well until I decided to get impatient and finish the clearcoat in the dark. What a muppet. That'll teach me.

hi, like my bike has some stickers on the fairings, I would like to cover them with gloss like it was done on the tank, can I do that?

Good educational video, thanks for sharing, .. I do Hydrochrome and get a much more mirror silver finish, but this paint looks interesting if you want to give something that brushed alloy look that some people love instead of a mirror chrome look. I think the only drawback to this is the time it takes and all the layers given, but good result in the end, well done.

Hey, it looks like this new 4600 gun with a 1.3 tip you have to paint really fast to keep up. I'm wondering if I switch to a 1.2 tip, will that slow me down a bit, or should I just adjust the paint flow? I'd rather not have to paint as fast as you are.

I bought a Bellaria about 6 months ago. I spray Envirobase water and it's been good. I'm switching to a solvent shop soon and I'm excited to try it out with solvent base.

Can you still lay down chrome base colours & second coats with this device? Also, how does it charge the part? It's all a bit confusing as there is 0 voltage.

12:07 In the outside display it seems it turned a little bit to blackish like black chrome? Could it be that it react to a darker nuance? What about long term? Does it fade out, I mean does it loose his gloss?

Wow!!! That looks amazing. I have a panel the clear failed on. Want to sell the truck. This would be a perfect deal for me. Body shop wants $800 to do it, but?? I'm going to give this a try. I'm really interested in doing it now seeing how pro results are possible. However you are a pro lol I'm not. But anything close to this is way better than the sun burned look it has now. Great video. I subscribed!!!

Thank you very much! That's inspired me to look into repainting parts of my old TVR myself. I'd noticed that the dealer who I'd bought the car from had had some repair work done using water based paints which I didn't think was possible with old TVR colours. I'll be watching your other videos on pearl and metallic paints to learn more about that final drop coat. Thanks again!

Great video! Please don't take this the wrong way, when you are doing jobs like these its best to wear some nitrile gloves or any tight fittings gloves that are just 3 mil thick that way you can still feel the panel and any low or high spots but most importantly the oils on your skin are not contaminating the surface. The only way to ensure the oils are removed is to use at least 50% isopropyl alcohol. Anyway just a suggestion Everyone is different i need to soak my hands in oil lol but I still use gloves only because it was a issue one time and took us hrs to figure out what happened.
