Dear Sifu, thanks for sharing this magnificent demonstration, and for wearing your white suit,that so well fits you. ❤😊❤ Loved this performance of yours: that speedy jump resembled to me to the movie "tiger and dragon", where they jumped like they had the old forgotten Shaolin skill named "skill of deft jumps ".... It impressed me a lot in your growing bag of skills. 💫🐲✨💛✨🐉💫 So agile, and those dragon side blows ending in ma-bu, delightful to watch! (I guess it wouldn't be so funny to receive them 😂😂😅😅🤣🤣🤣). I specially Loved Your high pace, so dynamic and electric.. This set you performed is a masterpiece of Shaolin arts in your skillful hands, thanks a lot for sharing. 💫✨🖖✨⚡⚡⚡🐲🐲⚡✨💫

Thanks, Sifu... But: we need some kicks! Go Shaolin kicking! Idiocies of mine apart, the set is powerful: I enjoyed so much when punching at different stances, number of steps performed, or height of the punch. Very strong, doing this for 10 minutes would be rather sweaty...
@ShaolinWahnamWien2 күн бұрын
Isn't it "Northern Kicks and Southern Fists"? Haha, of course, we have a wide range of kicks too but we only add them at level 4 of our syllabus, while this set is taught at level 3. 😉

Sorry for this ignorance of mine: which are those "12 bridges" that this exercise is said to cultivate? I ve been into traditional chinese medicine since 2004,and I Don't remember having heard or read anything like That before.... Thanks again for sharing and showing this amazing set performed completely. ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤
@ShaolinWahnamWien12 күн бұрын
Oh, the 12 bridges don't have anything to do with TCM. They are a concept of Southern Shaolin Kung Fu, especially Hung Gar. A "bridge" means the connection between the (fore)arms of two opponents/partners. The 12 bridges describe various types of force, similar to the 13 techniques in Taijiquan. I'm sure you'll enjoy this read: www.shaolin.org/answers/sp-issues/iron-wire01.html

While seeing the whole set performed this way, im having the intuition that each "qi flow break", is a way to make the energy generated circulate and prevent from a massive body explosion 😂😂😂😅😅❤❤
@ShaolinWahnamWien20 күн бұрын
Yes, the Qi Flows in between serve two major functions: a) enhancing and distributing the energy flow b) clearing any tension that might have occured during the exercise

Thanks Sifu: i reafirm in what I saw and said in another video of yours: white colour suit fits you super! I guess that golden colour is a distinctive of a great master in our lineage, and it is a beautiful colour that fits you quite well, but... Cannot help to see that suited in white you remind me of a white crane elevating the spirit....

All our sets of the standard syllabus start with Cloud Hands, as they are a great way to get the energy (and the body) flowing for an unspecified amount of time. This can be 3 rounds, 18 seconds or even 18 minutes if we like to. 🙂

I'm still in the beginning stages of Tai Chi Chuan, still training on the Riding Goat Stance. - BUT your push arm was too far out. - Your "hip" hand was too far back. - Your Tai Chi stance was out too far - Were you twisting with your waist or your legs? I heard that's not good for your dentein.
