Love the winch, I have the 45A. Been using it for seven years now. Never had an issue. It will serve you well. when dragging logs, take your chokers off the cable and hook them directly to the plate on the back. This will take the pressure off the cable and drum. There are chain slots on the plate for this. If you don't have a snatch block I would get one, this is for change of direction while winching. Good luck with your new winch.

Hi there; not sure if you'll see this comment, but I'm considering the 45A myself. I have previously looked at Farmi's and Wallensteins, but the Tajfun seems much more reasonable. How has yours held up?

As far as the log tables/lifters are concerned would any setup lend itself best to being more portable? Able for 1-2 guys to load in the bed of a truck, tow the processor, and setup on a one day job site?

What kida blades are these? Must you pull the shafts to change them? All edgers ive seen were much less teeth. I know these will give a smooth finish, but i wander if itll burn because of so many teeth in hardwood especially?....
@mikebrown9938

I just assembled my RR edger last week. I will be posting a video soon starting with what I was told pre-purchase, picking the machine up, assembly without instructions, pre-start inspection findings, safety issues, blade problems, structural issues, roller adjustment, measuring scale, and most importantly, the response I got when reporting problems. Yes, you have to disassemble the machine to change blades. Most edgers come with 2 piece blades that can be removed and installed without pulling apart the machine, thereby losing all fine adjustments. I'll post the video, good or bad, after I have an opportunity to speak with the North American headquarters based in Canada.

They should do something with the splitters on the Eco pro….the piston for the splitter has way to much play in it on both ends…and if your putting max size hard wood through it everyday it don’t take long for the push plate to start digging into the side of the splitting box and it will put a hole through it after a while ……I had a brand new Eco pro 300 and after 11 hours of use I almost had a hole in the splitting box …the company gave me a new one but it should not have happened in the first place……besides that problem I like the processor.
