i have not faced any issue except the one i mentioned in the video i keep it wall mounted so i hardly move it around the house when cleaning my setup if you have display port then only you will be able to run 1440p @ 144Hz otherwise it will be capped at 100Hz

did you check the battery connections?

yeah i never face it with HDMI from mac could be a monitor issue or the Display Port

colors are good but not best (compared to IPS panel) but you will get used to it in 1-2 days and won't even remember the difference. image quality does not decrease with IPS or VA (this monitor) it is an issue with TN panels

@@hemzigaming Thanks! I already subscribed when I first watched the video :D. My own laptop monitor has 45% ntsc color but ips and the colors are not really great, so probably it will make a difference when I get this monitor because it's 120% srgb. But I'm not sure 😂.

it is definitely better, I don't see much difference in MacBook and this monitor when placed side-by-side

I have not come across any monitor in this range which "supports HDR" surely they market these monitors as HDR supported but when you turn it on, it looks worse.

@hemzigaming that actually happened once , ruined the bearing oil and led to noisy fans , so i just dissmbled them and replace the bearing oil

Hey, I guess all these three are good options but I would either go for Xiaomi or MSI for their better contrast ratio. Xiaomi has better refresh rate but you need powerful GPU to even fully utlise 180Hz. With my RTX 3070Ti, my games average around 100-120FPS so I can't even utilise full 144Hz during game.

is your GPU for laptop or desktop? If it is Laptop it is worse than 3070Ti and you should be better off with MSI only. If it is Desktop it is 30% better than 3070Ti so you can expect approximately 30% more FPS i.e. yours can average around 130-156fps (given we both have same specs of other components) Xiaomi is a good brand for cost-effectiveness, I used their phones for over a decade but in Monitors they are new to the market so it is more of a gamble. I would advice to research more. But if i were in your position I would've went for something which is already in the monitor market like MSI, LG, Samsung, Dell etc. One more important factor which I forgot to mention in the video is: Do check if you have service centers near your home location (and how much warranty these brands provide) although it will hardly come to this but a good thing to consider.

it is still there, i just restart the monitor and it goes away. Might be a defective piece or defective DisplayPort coz I don't observe this on HDMI.

blacks are really great but compared to my IPS panel, colors are not that great when you place them side-by-side. If you look at this monitor individually, colors are not that bad :)

@somiljain6039 if you check the end of the video there is some screen fluctuation issue which i still face (could be due to defective piece) otherwise I don't have any issues with this device. Samsung is having 1000R curvature which might feel more immersive but I am comfortable with MSI

i guess HDMI cable has bandwidth limitation, you won't be able to get 144Hz on 1440p, you will have to reduce resolution to 1080p to get 144Hz

yes, it requires bit of an effort unlike other monitors. I have currently put it on wall mount.
