Look at the body gestures that were being made from the start of this particular item (3:08). Ms. Williams was expecting Ms. Jacobs to speak up and take responsibility for it. It’s clear who the problem is and has been in these and many other matters concerning Ms. Jacobs has been in direct control of. This entire matter is both disgusting, disturbing and very, very disheartening. She ought to be ashamed of herself!

Wow! Whoever that is sitting next to Ms. Jacob’s is covering for her. Again there lies the problem. If that lady were ti tell the truth, she’d say that she was directed by and. Jacob’s. You got to think, why is everyone throwing themselves under the bus for Ms. Jacobs. Oh yeah, I forgot… SHE’S THE “QUARTERBACK” leading her team straight to doom. And she doesn’t have the moral turpitude to be honest and accept responsibility for the decisions she makes and shoves down the throats of those she supervises. She needs to go and if the City Manager won’t hold her accountable, get rid of both of them. A blind man can see what’s happening. The more I watch these meetings, the more I’m convinced that the entire City would be better served if they fired Ms. Jacobs and her protectors starting with Mr. Evans.

Ms. Lanier is trying her best to incite the residents of Riviera Beach to become angry at Mayor Felder, Mr. McCoy and Mr. Dawson for taking seriously the complaints of the employee who obviously have had to deal with unfair treatment by both the City Manager and his Assistant Ms. Jacobs. When complaints have been taken directly to the City Manager about the treatment or mistreatment of employees by Ms. Jacobs, the City Manager has not bothered to address their concerns. I don’t know why that is, but it appears that the City Manager doesn’t care because it’s not him being mistreated. That’s sad. Ms. Lanier spouts off saying it’s a witch hunt because she is in the sandbox with those in favor with Ms. Jacob’s favors. And Ms. Jacobs has her favorites and they are only favorites as long as they go along with her regardless of whether her demands are fair or legal. All 30 employees can’t be lying on her. It’s not like they all work in one department. They are spread throughout the City’s various departments. Those employees who came forward should be commended for coming forward to expose the wrongdoings of Ms. Jacobs and the failure of the City Manager to investigate their concerns. Hopefully, they are ALL protected under the Whistleblowers Act. And finally, if the City would accept my contribution to the cost of furthering this investigation , I will glad gift them the funds to do so.

The emergency situation in the city is the water. People have a life to live not the boats. Come on where do you forget people and dwell on ramps for boats. Get the water up to standards. Please 🙏🏽

I wasnt interviewed. But I notified Evans, former HR Director and CC Miller-Anderson concerning my harrassment. Nothing done about it. I was told 3 months before my retirement, rhat i was band from doing my work. Office staff nor city was not permitted to meet with me. NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE. Not along was harassed by Recreation staff while I volunteered. Reported and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DONE. No helpf from administration but i did receive assistance from Mr. BLANKENSHIP.

Why are these meeting so long.

Water water water I have been to my doctor ecologist was found, called to speak with the city manager in May to report and to date I have heard from anyone. Spoke with a Mrs. Phillips with a promise of a call back. To date no one has contacted me yet I guess I’m not an important voter and resident.

It’s interesting that none of these individuals have a development background except Spiritus and Lawson; so how are they qualified to vet these individuals? Lanier was even fired from her last job. Let experts vet experts. This is the reason this City is constantly having to rehire.

I think it’s an excellent idea for the Director of the UD to report directly to City Council and fully remove the City Manager and his Assistant City Manager from all authority over the day to day operations of the UD. Mr. Lowe was the sacrifice for the UD. Having had his hands tied by the Assistant Manager who has been allowed to be a dictator over the UD staff. It’s time to recognize the failure and its reasons for such and make whatever decisions necessary to allow for the UD to run independently and not under the direction of the City Manager’s office. Thank GOD the motion passed!

McCoy is the only one that knows the charter and the Sunshine Law. I'm hoping with Spiritis some things will move forward. This board has no harmony, no peace, and no professionalism. Holding staff accountable? Well, who is holding the council accountable? They are making more mistakes than staff. Evans - needs to be gone Lawson - needs to be gone Lanier - needs to be gone And a new council birthed!!!!!

Spiritus is beholden to McCoy bc McCoy assisted him in his appeal to get Julia Botel off the ballot. Miller-Anderson and Lanier are beholden to Botel bc she helped get Lanier elected during her first race; when Lanier had no mainland support, so Botel persuaded Singer Island to vote her in. Botel was also instrumental in getting Miller-Anderson elected during this most recent election bc Miller-Anderson lost a lot of mainland support to her opponent. So now they both owe Botel. As for Lawson… he appears to be swinging out here solo. He is no longer aligned with McCoy after their altercation and Botel never liked Lawson so he doesn’t have the support of the two Botel flunkies, Miller-Anderson and Lanier. Hopefully, they will put these fake allegiances aside, more importantly put their egos aside, and each of them do what’s best for the City. But that’s too much like right… so get your popcorn 🍿 ready‼️‼️

That city news letter that was shown to the council, never reached my mailbox but you made sure my absent vote by mail was received. Do you pick and choose who gets the City news letter? You get my water bill mailed to me. We can read too! I just don’t understand. I probably won’t get an answer but if we’re to live, work and play in this city. You’ve got to get and do better. A citizen of Riviera Beach .

We now have a white man chairing the City Council of a majority black city, because they were unable and/or unwilling to get past their own petty differences. He was not even technically “elected”to this seat and had only held the position for less than 10 mins before having to be selected as chair bc of the division amongst black electeds. Shame on Lanier, Miller-Anderson, Lawson and McCoy. They did a complete disservice to the residents of Riviera Beach and should be completely ashamed of themselves
