I set mine to d and find it very sensitive to any light, even on a cloudy gloomy day. Other sensors I have including light bulbs are not as sensitive.

It does work for many days, especially if you rub it onto the skin with your fingers after applying it. Takes a couple of washes to then get it off the hands, but it’s worth it.
