The user manual for the Lift X 33 I bought says, "go to a reputable dealer for these adjustments" instead of mentioning the SWX mod changes you can do. I called Matthews and a tech responded but I'm a little disappointed I had to get a hold of them instead of having documentation with my new bow. The next hurdle will be to see if the change in draw length and weight will require a different arrow...

Funny, they drop these after UV drops theirs. The same arrow and you can get 12 of the HLR for 209 compared to 223 for 6 UV arrows lol

Sigh, I had a compound bow years ago, left handed given to me cheap by a former world champ. I had it stored while I was working out of state and the storage was robbed. Never got another one just never had the time and money and was scared to store another one while traveling. Great video, give me the itch!

I just showed up late to the comments section. Old Sabine Bottom is my third favorite WMA to hunt pigs on behind Bannister WMA in San Augustine County and my #1 is Sabine River Authority in Panola County. These last two permit year round hunting with a rifle and both places have lots of hogs. When I lived in Garland, I hunted Old Sabine Bottom almost exclusively as it was the nearest WMA to me. I have had the most success right along the banks of the Sabine River just to the west of Hoard Road/FM 1804. Also along the Old River Channel just to the west and south of the parking area where the power line right-of-way crosses FM 1804. Lots and lots of pigs running around on this place. It sure would be nice if you could hunt pigs at night here. You can hunt raccoons at night, why can't you hunt hogs? Oh well. Give this place a try you will like it. Oh and it is really cool that they allow you to archery hunt hogs year round at this WMA.

So true. Missed a 3x3 at 30… string jump. But not just string jump- buck fever. Shaking so bad I had to rest my bow on my knee and range off the top of my quiver. My rangefinder was probably thinking..”dude, what number you want?? That tree? That stump? That clump of dirt? That buck? Because you’re shaking so bad I can’t tell what you want. So I’m just gonna throw you an average- 33” I took the worst shot of my life. Stay humble like he says- because that was a dead buck. And I completely missed. Had it been a satellite bull? I’d have just wet myself and started sucking my thumb
@nehemiahcobleАй бұрын
So true, did the same thing on a buck but unfortunately didn’t miss and poked him in the shoulder, being humble and knowing your limits and when to let down is huge

I have just about every lighted you can buy sitting here halo are the best hands down. The only ones I found the don't rattle. Throw some nochtournals on and give your quiver a tap....now do it with the halos. And the system they use is far superior. Can't tell you how many times I activated other lights just nocking the arrow
