Growing up in a Norwegian 1st generation family this brings back sad memories. My dad's younger brother was killed in a car accident in college. No one spoke of him. I never could bring myself to talk to my dad about Dave. They were so close. My youngest uncle would ask, "where is Dave," to which he would hear, "he's at Riverview Park". A city amusment park. I will always remember the photo in my grandparents house. There is a young boy with a chubby face and a glint in his eye. I wish I'd gotten to know him. Never felt comfortable with my stoic Norwegian family but maybe Dave, dad's younger brother, would have understood that it's alright to not be perfect. Thank you for telling your story.

I've loved Jeff Kober in everything I've ever seen him in, most recently as the complex villain Cyrus Renault on ABC's General Hospital. He has really brought new life to the series.

I went to school with her daughter (family was on an episode of trading spouses and can’t find it anywhere). Was hoping to show that episode to my wife for a few laughs; but this will do. This will do.

Have you ever read Studs Terkel? No one is a bum, just trying to get by. Studs Terkel wrote a book called, "Working". He speaks for the forgotten, the working class, the underdog. I love his books and I loved listening to his voice when my parents would listen to him on the radio. My dad grew up in Chicago and on the 100th anniversary of the elevated train he got to shake Stud's hand. He was over the moon. Thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you for your story, and I cried. Each day, I thank God for the learning experience of my life on Earth. The names you say on this video, are familiar to me but I’ve never read them. The only thing I’ve been addicted to is sugar, and it’s a battle but I’ve lost weight. Low carb helped but it’s a battle still. Your comforting voice, and being a GH viewer made me sought out your videos. I happened upon this one.

When I was 4 or, 5 I accidentally drowned a kitten because I thought cats could swim under water 💧🧍♂️🙀 Like diving on tv 📺 I was sadly mistaken Because I got my ass tore up. 😱🥺😫 My dad would loose me in the store 🏬 I had ADHD 🤷♂️🧍♂️ Who knew that before I was diagnosed years later it would not matter in public or, the grocery store 🏬 I would still get my ass tore up 😂 He was Cherokee Indian American & my mom is Irish Dutch. I came out growing up with out the tall standing feature yet I was blond an short looking like Larry Bird . Yep my mom dad & 2 sisters all had black hair and, brown eyes. Oh yeah another thing ADHD Or, not you didn’t forget to mow the yard because the belt was coming off An there would be jumping & a running scratching an a biting screaming & a crying. Mom would save me that mower has no gas ⛽️ oh 😢 Anyway we’re cool now he’s in Heaven 🚬⚰️🪦 When he passed on he said them smokes will get ya sooner or, later. 🤔 💭 for me it would be a great idea not to buy cigarettes 🚬🤷♂️
