I recommend watching this video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYCthH54aa6DZtU. I use a rear fender full time now, even in mid summer, it's not for mud, but to prevent coming in contact with the rear tire with my pants, and stopping it from rolling.

@Scottslookingabout thanks, watching now but have no plans for any super rough trails or any big drops, just wanted a more comfy ride through the local bush which is an old mining area so pretty bumpy

how did you alter the fork to fit the rear wheel? thanks, mike
@Scottslookingabout3 ай бұрын
@@michaelphalen8759 it's a 26er fat bike fork with 135mm hub space, and I hung the rear triangle in front of it, zoom in on it in this photo: flic.kr/p/2pXdXZ4
@Scottslookingabout3 ай бұрын
1:18 shows the mounting, the fork in the video is fat bike 26er with 135mm hub spacing, so no alteration needed to fit 26 mountain bike tire or 700x25c tire, depending on use, I currently have a 24er fat bike fork on it to be as aero low as possible fitting a 26"x1" tire for road bike use. This is what it current looks like with a 26" x 1" tire 24" fat bike fork. flic.kr/p/2qowoRR

My 67 200ci makes this same sound but goes away when I give it throttle. Only makes the sound on idle. Think it’s lifters too? Plus my engine sat since 1984 to begin with..

@@streetstallion hum, just don't use fram filters, start this video at 2:35 to see why, I lost the engine because of this filter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4Wxe397i512fZo

Sounds exactly like your engine at that time part. Expect mine even with the slightest bit of throttle it goes away 😂. I’ve been using motor craft and auto lite filters on it for 8 years now. Never had this issue until the beginning of this year. Plus mine has never been rebuilt or anything.. it’s such a shame cuz the motor still makes good power for a lil 200ci and drives like a dream but that sound just bugs me 😂. Might be time for a v8 but trying to keep it original as long as I can.. thanks for your input! Could always use some advice on this 😅

hi, is this good for 125kg person?
@Scottslookingabout5 ай бұрын
I'd say no, I think most bikes are rated to 260 lbs riders, 117kg, you'll need to look at specs, being so close to limits, I'd look for a company based in your country for best customer service warranty. Seat rails and rims may not be covered by their warranty, you'll have to check.
