Why the guar powder?
@jenniferlangart55043 ай бұрын
The guar gum is a binding agent and keeps the surface tension. This helps the giant bubbles last longer and it makes it easier to get off the wand. You can really see it in action when a giant bubble seems to float on forever or when a gust of wind catches one, it will twist and elongate into these amazing shapes. Love it when that happens! 🫧

I wonder if you can use a fishing net?

Most definitely! It will give you smaller bubbles, but you’ll get a gazillion of them 🫧 🫧

if u use isopropilic alchool to make the slurry u don t need to add hot water :)
@jenniferlangart55042 жыл бұрын
I used to use rubbing alcohol for the slurry, but still had issues with lumps so I went back to boiling the water

Hot or cold water has nothing to do with clumps. It's about the expansion/absorption of the guar.

so, i did make up a batch of this bubble solution. not too hard to make. put it in a large bucket. i ordered a wand from amazon as they do have lots of different ones to buy , even for kids. i went out to the back yard of our coop with just a few people to try it............................AND. OMG................it took me a try to two to get used to it and man, i felt like a child. i couldnt contain myself. nor could the other adults. i did such a good job as i made really long ones and was so proud. we were screaming in joy and smiling like crazy. writing this puts me in tears as we had so so much fun and it made me feel great making them happy too. i love bubbles tons but no one ever makes them. so now i will. big hugs.....................xoxo

Just curious what does baking powder do for it?
@jenniferlangart55043 жыл бұрын
It helps with the strength of the bubbles so that they will last longer by reducing the pH of the solution
