I use own a 1969 f 8000 with a 5 and a4 tranny with a225 v8 cat diesel back in the day. I loved the tranny set up. Used two hands and drive at the same time and these truckers to day think they have it rough❤❤❤

Some set ups don't let you jack knife as far. I've run some that the reach will hit the tires it's nice other the neck hits something like the truck frame or hitch
