Thank you Macky. This is a new way, for me, to make unique fabrics. In Alberta, Canada we need good insulative materials for a great part of the year. How nice a vest would be!

Do you do all your blocks with free motion etc. Then make your rows, sometimes? For making your quilts?

When I make a lattice crust on pie I use the traditional method of folding back the odd strips halfway, lay down the cross stop, unfold the odd strips, fold up the even strips halfway, lay down a cross strip, unfold, and repeat. Then I rotate the pie 180* and finish the other side. Would the same technique work with the cloth? It seems it would be quicker and easier.

Because you have a Bernina...do you ever use the Bernina Stitch Regulator with feed dogs down, so that the free motion zig zag stitches don't have that "pulled" out stitch look when u come to the points of the zig, etc or do the turns or curves? thanks for the weaving tutorial.

Everyone starts somewhere. Would have liked to see stitching up close, couldn’t hear you at all while you were stitching so missed most of the instruction after that. But appreciate the effort and inspiration. Good luck.

Hello Macky, I just happened upon your channel and I am absolutely hooked! Your work is so stunning and interesting. I would love to add your weave borders to a quilt. Would you maybe consider showing us how you add your weaved border on a quilt? Is there a certain woven strip length that you create or recommend before sewing together? Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and techniques. 😊

why do people who have a BERNINA. sewing machine ALWAYS say MY BERNINA It drives me nuts seriously. It is a ridiculously expensive machine and it has become a status symbol, like really? so silly , just a show off thing for goodness sake.
