Doraemon is mispronounced again, it's pronounced as Dora-e-mon. Anyways I always thought that doraemon dorayaki shop would be in the first where it has many many new features while also having many features from older games, although I do think they should have added some kairosoft characters!

It's the cracked, ultra-specific references and puns that really endeared the company to me (via their GOAT localization partners, real heroes don't wear capes). Ten years later, I'm so glad they're still making games that make me smile.

The main thing I love about this title is the visual color and the fact that every season the color subtly change. It's so pretty. Autumn is definitely my favourite. I do however kinda dislike how slow it is to increase stats of the residents. I know other titles also got it, through items, but idk it just felt slower here.

13:10 I used to struggle with the spirits when I first got into the game. Once I learned shields and upgrading them exist, that's when I blazed through the monsters. I agree- a hard mode should have been provided, as it made it hard to feel fufilled when everything is too easy.

I kinda paid no attention to this game at first since it looks kinda too chill to my taste, but the nighttime invasion and competition mechanic do sound pretty interesting...might need to check it out then! I do feel like I need to verify with my Japanese friend how historically accurate it is that Heian era Japan is under threat of ghosts and killer chickens at night tho...

So basically kinda a spritual successor to Ninja Village, Nice!! 👍

This was very helpful. Some of the games are on sale on Android. Dungeon Village 2 is what immediately appeals to me, but after this video I'm also interested in Dream Island and Tropical Resort.

Doraemon is my childhood and probably the first anime I watched. I believe most Asian people grew up watching this show and reading the manga. The fact that they put so many references and side characters from Fujiko's different franchises into the game shows this game is made with love, and probably with the nolstagia of the dev team members.
