@@himanshupratapsingh1603 So if you just want to go to Chitkul... It's around 2 days of drive from Lucknow..considering you drive 12 hours per day... I drove back from Raksham,12 kms from Chitkul to Noida nonstop and it took me around 17 hours... Slept the night and drove next day From Noida to Lucknow in 6-7 hours.... The roads are good till Solang Valley but there will be considerable traffic. Last 40 kms of roads are narrow and you need to be very careful... Not advisable to drive on those roads in monsoon... Landslides, high altitude narrow roads at several places with passing space for only 1 car and deep valleys on one side is what you need to be careful of... The route is very scenic though with waterfalls & orchids... Follow Google Maps for route...its reliable throughout

Amazing Scenic beauty....do you think road development will help this place or take away from it with more folks coming easily?
@indianroadtripper64863 жыл бұрын
It will help the region & it's people economically but the rampant commercialisation will take away the serenity and untouched beauty of this region.... Still the area is too large to get destroyed too soon.... Wl take another decade of so for it to happen... Though placed like Kaza & Tabo are already full of tourists coming in from Shimla side....

Is there any hotel near alwar station ?? Is it safe to explore alone bhangrah for solo women
@indianroadtripper64863 жыл бұрын
Hi...There should be some hotel around the railway station like they are in all towns... I didn't stay at Alwar so can't confirm... Regarding solo travel to Bhangarh... You can go there on weekends between 11 to 3 during the day when the place has decent crowds. The town is slightly remote to get to without your own vehicle and most parts in the fort complex also can get slightly secluded so it's advisable to travel with someone though.
