I didn't finish polishing up the edit, so there's some clips that probably need text for context 🤭🤭 BUT the only important one is that this isn't the last vlog- they'll be a final wrap-up coming out in two weeks!

NEVER get fish & chips at a pub! And you need a full week, to even begin scratching the surface. Dont just stay in central, the outer boroughs have pretty villages and cool neighbourhoods

I have three things to say. First of all, I love LIDL. They had one in Ocean City. Second of all, I am SHOCKED you ventured that close to the duck. Third of all, you should come back to the midwest because its beautiful here, and I miss you.

It's not a reference to the postal code, but rather to the beginning of a common chant "I L L - I N I" in support of the sports team.

I am joining cru in HK as well. There is a very recognizable anthem which has been with many generations of disciples over the years. I have been on three missions (one local, one to Japan and one involving online to offline programs), and have spread the gospel in my college for 1.5 hours per week.

Love this. Rebekah Lyons--yes. Also Ladies' No. 1 is so good. All of the series is just comfortable and "nice" in a positive way. My favorite series of AMSmith's is 44 Scotland Street. Thanks for recommending authors I have wondered about. Good job. I also need to re-read "Walk Two Moons."

Dear mam, Hope you are doing well. I was analyzing your KZbin channel. I am really impressed by your videos but your KZbin channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your KZbin channel is not getting views and subscribers as expected. Because you have no complete SEO for any videos, no channel tags, no video tags, If you SEO your videos, your subscribers, views will increase and your channel will grow. I can help you if you want.

Since I started in the fall, I'm not sure what specific opportunities there are in the spring...definitely check out a list of RSOs at U of I (I think they are currently updating the list so maybe check in November) and see what you are interested in joining!

I second the thought about giving your all for the final regardless of how you may be perceiving how you are doing in the class overall as some professors may take improvement into account and boost your final course grade accordingly. This happened to me at least twice. I struggled through the course throughout the semester but things clicked for me during the last week and/or when I was studying for the final. I ended up acing the final and getting a higher grade than what I expected. Now granted this was a few decades ago but you still may find that compassionate professor that puts a premium on improvement.

I am a ’76 Illinois grad and just stumbled across your video. This is s good overview and quite enlightening to hear how some things have changed and how some things have remained the same. I lived in FAR for my first three years before fleeing to an apartment. Back then I think FAR was barely ten years old so it was the dorm in the best condition. With the exception of the places you mentioned in the newer six pack, all the other dorm and certified private residences are the same as the ones when I attended university. You are right about FAR being far, and as an engineering student with classes on the other end of the campus I learned to haul a$$ to avoid being late for class. I think I set some land speed records in the process. Got a good chuckle about moldy Bromley Hall; I can imagine what an additional fifty years has done to the place. If you lived in the dorms there was no real advantage of one dining hall over the other. I do not think we had the option at dining at other dining halls; outside of any possible convenience there was no real reason to do so. All dining halls were set up in the same mess hall/cafeteria style format. You would show up, show your meal pass, grab a tray, get in line and take your chances. BTW, smoking was still a thing back then so picture that at meal time if you will. The only deviation from normal regarding dining hall options was that you did have the option of making your own sack lunch if you had a full class load out in the boondocks and this precluded you from getting back to your dorm for lunch. Of course you could shell out for fast food or option in the Illini Union. I recall we had two choices in the Union back then. There was a cafeteria in the basement and a vending room on the first floor. I’ve got other tales about registration, doing laundry and buying overpriced books at the bookstores but I’ll save those for another time. Spoiler alert; picture registration being held in the Armory without any online options if you had to add/drop classes or needed any changes your schedule. Good presentation and best of luck to you.
