The green material is XPS, Styrodur® foam from BASF in this case.

Hatte beim Jungfernflug durch Loch im Rasen einen Fahrwerksbruch mit diversen Kollateralschäden. Seit dem liegt sie in der Werkstatt und wartet auf die Reparatur. Mal sehen, wann ich wieder Lust dazu finde...

Hi Antonio this is the only stuff I published here up to now. The modell ist still under work (autumn 2013) and I hope to finish it in spring 2014. If you want to read more about my work you should follow the first link (to "flugmodellbauprojekte") in the header description of this video. Please, is there a second part to this video? I want to see it being finished and being flown. What an amazing machine the Horten was! How come the Germans where so clever, so advanced? I intend to build a 1/5th scale model of the Horten 229. I'm using a set of drawings that I found on the internet. Very detailed drawings, very well drawn. I'll probably use fans as you have, but wouldn't it be great to use 2 jet engines. Is this model design yours? I hope you understand English?

I have just purchased from Aero Tetris their foam Horton 229. I was going to stick build but this seem a quicker and possibly a stronger build route.

Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. Der Bauplan, den ich als Grundlage verwendet habe, ist von "wingsontheweb". Den Link zu einem vorläufigen Baubericht von mir findest du in der Beschreibung zum Video. In dem Baubericht sind auch die Links zu meinen Quellen eingetragen.
