This looks like lip sync. The recording is way too close to the recording. Edit: it’s identical to the recording. It’s a perfect lip sync. Props for that.

I remember when rock was young Me and Susie had so much fun Holding hands and skimming stones Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own But the biggest kick I ever got Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock While the other kids were rocking 'round the clock We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock Well, Crocodile Rocking is something shocking When your feet just can't keep still I never knew me a better time, and I guess I never will Oh, lawdy mama, those Friday nights When Susie wore her dresses tight And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight Laa, la-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa But the years went by and the rock just died Susie went and left us for some foreign guy Long nights crying by the record machine Dreaming of my Chevy and my old blue jeans But they'll never kill the thrills we've got Burning up to the Crocodile Rock Learning fast as the weeks went past We really thought the Crocodile Rock would last Well, Crocodile Rocking is something shocking When your feet just can't keep still I never knew me a better time, and I guess I never will Oh, lawdy mama, those Friday nights When Susie wore her dresses tight And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight Laa, la-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa I remember when rock was young Me and Susie had so much fun Holding hands and skimming stones Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own But the biggest kick I ever got Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock While the other kids were rocking 'round the clock We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock Well, Crocodile Rocking is something shocking When your feet just can't keep still I never knew me a better time, and I guess I never will Oh, lawdy mama, those Friday nights When Susie wore her dresses tight And the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight Laa, la-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa Laa, la-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa Laa, la-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa La-la-la-la-laa

I’m a Gen-Zer (I know no one cares LOL) but I started listening to him when I was 13 or 14 and became so enchanted with him, by him. I’m 26 now and it’s still nostalgic for me to come back here. I used to watch his videos so much.

And like everything else from televised "live" performances of the '70s & '80s, lip-synched. How to tell? The vocals and instruments match the album version flawlessly. Zero deviation. But that aside great classic, great historical footage.

This is pure audio perfection. Beautiful and dark, happy and sad at the same time. It takes me back to a time that was truly unique, I met a beautiful Russian girl online that lived nearby (insanely small odds in the small town I lived in) our flame burned bright and for a short while, then life pulled us apart. I’m pretty sure she had my son, this song reminds me of her. Tears me up a bit when I hear it.

Mi canción favorita de Elton, la conocí de pequeña, sin saber lo que decía la letra. Ahora a mis 50 años sigue siendo mi canción, del gran maestro Elton John 🇨🇱🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵🌷

But why are all of his lyrics so terrible?
@Justice-ef9sk15 күн бұрын
I’m glad somebody else thinks that! I mean, no doubt this is one of the greatest songs ever recorded, but in all honesty I think Elton came up with a good melody- and just put words that rhymed together for the lyrics 😂😂 Dogs of society howl? 😂😂😂
