Thank you for your version. I can't sleep. I need a doctor since time when I heard the first one, twenty-five years ago, Friday night in Sun Francisco. Kind regards.

Very nice, but I couldn't feel the soul. I wonder if that's because the song's origins are Middle Eastern, and as someone from that region, I seek that nuance?

One needs a soul to feel the soul. You’re asking the wrong person these questions! Know thyself….

This is really sad and toxic. I am listening to and following Mr. Søren Madsen as a great virtuoso. In this specific piece, I just couldn't feel the emotion I was looking for. As an amateur and autodidact guitarist, I tried to look for the cause of this. Was it musical or cultural? But instantly, one commenter accused me of being soulless and another of being small and petty. You want to live in your echo chambers and never want to hear a different argument, which can help you grow and improve, actually. I would like to delete my comments to avoid spoiling the comments section of this elite musician, but hoping this message reaches the right ears, I am keeping it.

Who are you kidding? Give credit where credit is due-- That's Tim Rose's arrangement. Billy Roberts wrote the original, but his arrangement is quite different.
