Weird question. Do people ever NOT go on any zodiac cruises on the trip? Wife and I were on your antarctic cruise and we did the zodiacs to set foot on Antarctica and see penguins up close but I'm wondering what the zodiacs do for the Arctic (other than getting you wet and chilly)?

How long is the helicopter ride?
@QuarkExpeditions5 ай бұрын
Hi there, the flightseeing experience onboard Ultramarine's two twin-engine helicopters is included in the cost of your voyage! The flight time can be anywhere between 8-15 minutes. Please note that helicopter flights are region-dependent and can't be operated in specific destinations, for example, Svalbard in the Arctic or South Georgia in the Antarctic.

From Canada: I lived in Canada's high arctic regions for 12 years. Lived in Grise Fiord, Arctic Bay, Pond Inlet and Resolute Bay. It was unique and interesting and I experienced situations few people would ever realize in their lifetime. But I was glad to finally go south and live in Kamloops, BC. A semi desert region where the year round temperatures were just right. Now 90 years old with lots of memories.

Considering most of nukes are tested here are thermonuclear which was cleaner but has powerful blast than fission ones that are dropped in hiroshima and nagasaki then the radioactivity doesn't really stay too long unless if neutron bombs are used
