There was a backup after the final drop in that old waterfall section before the final scene, which stopped us for about five minutes. Eventually, all boats started moving again. Once the log in front of us was about to reach the gate, the “brake” piece (that lifts up from under the water) located before the gates lifted a few seconds early, lifting the log in front of us up awkwardly by the back and our log by the tip of the front. The logs were already close together (since there was the previous backup), so when the log in front of us stopped and starting lifting up, our log continued moving into it (because of the log behind of us still pushing on the back of our boat). Our log was slightly wedged in between the log in front of us and the one still pushing from behind, and ended up tilting about *25* degrees left. Luckily cast members noticed this (assuming thru security cameras) and shut the ride’s power down really quick. That lowered the “brake” piece and unwedged us, returning our boat to normal. Even knowing that nothing could’ve really gone wrong here, it was still kinda scary in the moment.
