I'm reading the book right now, I got a physical one of amazon. In the opening, you mention how the film originally had another actress, but the story was changed last minute after she was fired. Do you mind if I ask what role that actress played, and how the story would have differed? Like was Catherine meant to kidnap 3 girls?

The book reflects the original script. The new bluray of Rape is a Circle reflects the best cut after I fired an actress. She died of beast cancer a few years ago, so I try not to write negative things about her. Well, I try not to write negative things about anyone, but sometimes a story needs to have someone identified. This is not such a story.

You can order the 6-hour Bluray from an American merchant, and some amazon overseas carries this. The censored 3-hour version is available on some streaming sites, but I don't stream so I don't know. I think tubi has the censored version. Physical media is always uncut.
