My soul left my body on the release of that first roll, so clean you could eat off of it!

It’s too bad this band has folded and is no more, their medleys were always so well arranged very musical. This will always be one of my favourite medleys, RIP dowco triumph street pipe band!

I don't Care what anybody says........THIS BAND and performance is the single greatest I've Ever heard. I'm from the Great Glendora Pipe Band of my youth and today's greatest Youth Band of America of which some of our kids will be in Worlds in 2019. Simon Frazier is just Dynamic and their musical selections are tremendous. Wow.....

Further comment, some wonderful piping there, and some great drumming, the sort that is in my heart, overall, but particularly in the last 8 bars. Wonderful.

What's with the silly crab walking bass drummer??? Is the new Canadian "thing" in pipe bands?
@adamsapple20128 жыл бұрын
John Peter Presson, Protopsaltis No, a lot of bass drummers walk sideways. I'm not exactly sure of the reason, though, as I'm not a drummer but there definitely will be one.

Both for better sound projection from the drum and can see the pipe major more easily

Tr. St always was a tight, musically solid band. I was quite impressed with their overall sound when I was piping in the 80's with the Keith when they were just getting back into competition -in fact I think I bought the first album Tr St put out with the lovely harmonized hymn at the end (I lost it years ago unfortunately, and have been on the hunt for another copy) --but the visual in continuities are a little difficult to get past. Hope competing teams don't throw banana peels for the bass,

+John Peter Presson, Protopsaltis It is an odd technique right enough... Not one I'd use myself but a good few bass drummers do outbid personal preference
