If you tap into the door switches for power, does the App Control still work for the LED? I was under the impression that it needed to get power out of the Adapter that comes with the kit for that.

Each individual door has its own controller that gets power from each door. Then master controller that I placed under the steering wheel controls all 4 doors, dash and footwell.

We use specialised 3m patch tape to hole them and then ziptie.

It comes with the adhesive naked tape to hole the strips in place.

Foot lights are included in the kit but headrest lights is a complete different kit.

@lightguys_gta Honda and Mazda are different. No? I have a 2020 cx 5. I don't think it's the same as a 2023. I could be incorrect, though. So I would imagine a Honda would be really different.

Where did you tap into the front door for 12v power I tried to tap into the ambient light in the door handle but it dims when you put it in drive

Take the power source from Window's motor power cable.

Depends on how technical you are and how confident you are with removing and putting back the parts. Installationnpart is easy.

@@lightguysgta I am pretty technical my mindset though is coming from a 2004 Toyota 4Runner behind the door panels was kind of tricky sometimes when it came to removal with the open handle cable plus the door fame itself had plastic weathering I had deal with etc. I have a ‘17 Glc 300 coupe and I not sure how the door removal is or what behind it also are the light all plug and play? Thanks in advance

Where did you tap power on the rear doors? I tried going off the window switch, but the wires are very thin and I dont think it puts out enough current as mine wont light up
