I am like yourself, terrible at matching colours. But I do think that the colour scheme you suggested sounds good to me. I am very much enjoying your videos.

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately, I have already aligned the radio and doing it again would not show before and after. Part two will focus on cabinet repair. However, for my next radio, I will be sure to record and publish the alignment.

Me and my grandpa (John) just bought this from you, looking forward to trying it out!
@@NickG123 If you are not getting good reception, here are some tricks... 1 - Turn the radio so the antenna is pointing in different directions. 2 - Try the radio in different rooms. EMI is an issue with homes that have a lot of electric items floating around (think lights, wifi, modem, etc..). 3 - Try later in the evening when there is less EMI and radio stations also lower their power.

My great grandmother just gave me her's and it still works without any repair needed!

Wow. 80 years old without any repairs. Quite impressive. They just don't make things like they used to. Thank you for sharing

@@vrsTubeRadio mine is older according to date codes, but last night the rectifier tube just blew, but I saw it go so I know it's that. At least tubes are $10
