If Judy Garland threw the knife towards her son and once she threw his out from the playpen, she should be critized. These action deserve on critize no matter she went through by life.

THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL BY AN ICONIC CELEBRITY PERFORMER!! I especially love that opening number "CONSIDER YOURSELF" IT'S SO ADORABLY CATCHY, & FUN, & PERFECT FOR JUDES (AS MICKEY ROONEY CALLED HER) & HER SPECIAL! But I'm sorry, Liza as We know is like a Mini JUDY GARLAND (WITH A TINY HINT OF BABY GUMM IN HER ADORABLE LITTLE CHEEKS, EYES, NOSE, & LIPS!) EVEN RIGHT DOWN TO HER "REGULAR SPEAKING VOICE" (WE KNOW DARN WELL THAT LIZA SOUNDED IDENTICAL TO JUDY VOCALLY) EVEN AT THIS EARLY AGE IT WAS UNCANNY, & JUDY KNEW IT TOO!!😂 But as I was gonna say... I'm sorry, Liza had it, Lorna could sing, "&" act as well...BUT JOEY, JOEY, JOEY?😞😔🥴🥴🫣🫣😵💫😵💫😟😥😢☹️🙁😖😣😳 WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO POOR JOEY? Sweet as Honeysuckle on the vine, but the poor kid couldn't carry a tune in a bucket! APPARENTLY THAT GUMM FAMILY GENE SKIPPED RIGHT OVER JOEY!! I'm sorry if that upsets anyone, I know 120% that I'm not wrong, but I'm not trying to be mean, You can see Judy's face when He's doing His first solo like (WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS ONE?😂😂)

Having just watched the movie bio of Judy, this was so special to see. She certainly was a class act. The kids were terrific, appearing so comfortable. Wow Lorna Luft had such a powerful and beautiful voice. I sure want to look into her music. It was great seeing the handsome talented Jack Jones. All around wonderful show. Liza was a natural born talent for sure. Loved this!! 💙🎶

Lorna looked rather uncomfortable when Judy was singing "Over the Rainbow". Every time her mother looked at her, she forced a smile and as soon as Judy looked away, the smile disappeared. It seemed like a comedy routine, but I doubt it was meant to be funny. It was sad to think that just six years later these kids lost their mother.

Judy intentionally made hash out of Mel's lyric because he scolded her briefly for flubbing a phrase in his The Christmas Song before that. When she messed up, he said, "Close!" Thinking quickly, she sang "rainbows" instead of "raindeer," as a musical "Eff you, Mel, my own song is more important than yours."

I always wonder how much longer Liza and Tracy Tightpants stayed together. Of course it's great to see Judy get back at Mel Torme for having the bad taste to say "Close" after she flubbed a minor lyric in "The Christmas Song." Jack Jones should have been more casually dressed; he looks like something out of "Mad Men." And couldn't they have done something with Lorna's hair? (Kick-ass voice, though.)

She is so thin
@judygarlandforever23 күн бұрын
@@jl3322 Judy was very short in stature, only 4'11" and she had a tendency to look plump even in healthy weight, so television executives put a lot of pressure on her to remain "camera thin". At that time she was mostly surviving on tea and very little food.

@@sheg1969 Well, I can't blame her. She was 11 years old here and I guess it was more laziness than anything else. It could be my brother and I perfectly 🤣 He is 9 years older than me and Liza is 6 years older than Lorna. Although the difference is that they get along very well and on the other hand my brother and I get along well but we don't have that bond of friendship that Liza and Lorna have. So I definitely wouldn't get off the couch to hug him and say hello. But based on Lorna and Liza's friendship, I think either of them would do it. Call me crazy if you want, but I think Liza was "mommy's girl" (no offense) And of course that made Lorna a little jealous like the rest of the little kids 🤣
