I attended this concert at the Tivoli in Richmond, Indiana. Jim Murray and Joe Moscheo returned to Richmond to promote the albums release and I was fortunate to meet them and the autographing my copy of the album. I still have the albums and wish they would release it on CD. Thank you sharing this great memory!

I still have this album from my Parents and, I can remember the way I felt when I heard it for the first time as a child. This is my favourite song from the Imperials, bar none!!!! Listening to now fills my heart in ways I cannot begin to describe. It was a Family favourite as well and, while he was in church, my Daddy performed this song often.

"I Am" by the Wall Bros. Sometimes I will find myself livin' in a world of make-believe, just to find that it's my own heart that deceives me. Pride's a good way of fallin' down makin' hazy what was clear. Then I hear the still small voice, sweet and strong, in my ear. "Could you make the mountains r‪ise? And could you paint the morning skies? And were you here when the world began?" "Can you make the eagle soar? And can you make the ocean roar? Are you able to make humble man?" And sometimes I will find myself buildin' sand castles high. When I turn they have fallen down as the tide comes. Strange how I choose to walk a road lonely men have walked in vain, 'til the light that directs my path speaks to me sweet and plain. It said, "Could you make the mountains r‪ise? And could you paint the morning skies? And were you here when the world began?" And... "Can you make the eagle soar? Can you make the ocean roar? Are you able to make humble man?" "Could you make the mountains r‪ise? And could you paint the morning skies? And were you here when the world began?" "Can you make the eagle soar? Can you make the ocean roar? Are you able to make humble man?" "I AM." "I AM." "I AM."

I had this on a copy cassette someone gave me. It was stolen in 1983. I remembered this song, I couldn’t remember who did it and very little of the lyrics but I remembered loving it. I just found here. Listened to it for the first time in 40 years.

Wow! I have been searching for this song for nearly 40 years also. I just listened to it tonight, 2:00AM in NJ. I could never remember who sang it, but I had the album back in the early 80's when I was a new Christian. I've sang parts of this song and always, always hoped to hear it again. I thought Brush Arbor might have sung it, and every few years I would do a search hoping someone would upload it. I actually prayed tonight that God would help me find it, and He did! I'm flying back to Kansas City tomorrow andy am so very grateful I got to hear this tonight, actually made me cry. Thank You Lord for your faithfulness and love all these years.

I. Can’t. Believe. It. My sister just found this for me! My babysitter gave this record to me for my birthday but I guess was tossed out over time. The song I always clearly recalled is “It’s a Great Day”. What a gem!!

Perfect ending to this album. Per Wikipedia: nominated for 1974 Grammy. I believe it was nominated for a Dove in 1973 but am having trouble fact checking that. If anyone can help me I'd sure appreciate you replying here.

Armond Morales...what a tremendous voice. But...just for the record....this wasn't recorded at the same time (on the same night) as the rest of the album. Just my opinion so please correct me if I'm wrong. I look forward to your comments. But the part about Armond Morales being a great voice...that isn't open to debate.
