thumbs up for having a very good artist website, great way to view her work. I went searching for a monograph but all I found was an adult colouring book from 2017 but the website absolutely did not disappoint.

I really like the work she showed here. Reminds me a bit of Ed Ruscha's stuff.

Amazing photographer, I don’t do photography but I find myself becoming absorbed into his captures and that serves as inspiration for my drawings and sculptures sometimes 🌹 Nobuyoshi’s work leaves something to the eye of another, very compelling

You cannot believe how quickly Romania has blazed into the twenty-first century! As our bus stopped at a place halfway to a remote castle, the 7-11 type shop was ablaze with electronic video screens and electronic cash registers taking all manner of plastic cards imaginable. Giant screens lit up everywhere to the electronic sounds of blipping and binging as Romanians made purchases with their iPhones and went back on the four lane freeway. August, 2024

Well Ghenie is not a failure anymore. Love his paintings! Plus I was lucky enough to visit Romania this summer, what a cool, trippy country. In addition to all the castles, mountains, history of dictatorships, Dracula, Transylvania, Greek mythology and the Black Sea, Romania is relatively untouristed and uncrowded. Romania should give us Americans some tips on how to get rid of dictators.

Some people have a way about them that makes you feel so comfortable. Robert is definitely one of those people. This video made me feel good, he seemed like a wonderful guy.

NO! The pieces shown here can loosely be labeled as "decorative" pieces but NOT fine art. I see these works as masturbation not a route to "paradise" , delusion , yes.

Not one point did I see this dude making his own sculpture, give the credit to the actually skilled workers making this. Just because you have and idea a money doesn’t mean those people don’t either. Giving credit and money to someone who didn’t even lift a finger is systematically disgusting.

And she shouldn’t have to hold it all inside. If she can experience generational trauma and pain, we who do not experience it can, at the very least, stand with her and listen, and watch, and learn.

I experienced it this weekend at the SFMoMA. Brought me to tears. One suggestion: stay to the very end, even when you think it is over. The dramatic way they walk the house shutting down the cameras one by one is profound! I started in the middle, so I was determined to watch the beginning, but a lot of folks left as the "porch crew" walked away into the hills. Not the end!
I have trouble believing he is self-taught. Beautiful and clever!
