Question, why isn’t the writer of the song credited for Sweet Kings Williamtown. He’s my great uncle Daniel Buckley Jr.
@canonxl116x11 ай бұрын
We at Old Road Studio are always happy to adhere to the protocols of crediting composers with their work. Danny Buckley is acknowledged locally in the Ballydesmond area as the author of ‘Sweet Kingwilliamstown’. However, according to eminent Historian A.T. Culloty in his Book ‘Ballydesmond, A Rural Parish in its historical Setting’ - “This claim in difficult to establish” Therefore, we are reluctant to state unequivocally that Danny Buckley is the author of Sweet Kingwilliamstown because of legal issues regarding registration and infringement of copyright.
