Great stuff Alan...keep it up ol mate. I only just pulled out my classical guitar last night after a few months of playing nothing but Bllegrass to calm myself down after rehearsing with my mob and playing Jerusalem Ridge at about 180bpm to finish up...leaves one a bit wired. I played the Milonga from Pujol Suite Del Plata 1...rusty as I was. Boy do I need to work on my right hand. I'll buy your book. Cheers

Nice playing. I am a fan of the work of both George Golla and Don Andrews. We were lucky to have such talented guitarists here in Australia.

This song has alot of brazilian classical music, Villa Lobos, Baden Powell de Aquino, Almir Sater kinda thing ("Hick 'Sertanejo'" fills). PS: "hick" doesn't mean exactly in Brazil (most of times) what is meant by in the US, maybe.

Yes! Jasco stands with the Villa-Lobos 12 studies. It is as good. I have the rights to publish the sheet music in a text book I'm writing

Hi, I've not published the arrangement, but I do plan on doing so. If you give me your email address I'll send the music. But I must ask you not to share it with anyone else. Is that ok?

Beautiful Alan. As I'd expect. Remind me what the guitar is that you're playing. (Was your dad's was it not)?
@alanplummerguitar2 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul. Jason Elazzi, made in 2010. You felt this one? Lift it with one finger. My issue is that carbon fiber tops sound a little bright, especially on this guitar, but intonation is far superior. For the latest recording, 'Exultation', I put a nylon top string on. Tis all a balance. Dad's is the Yamaha electric, 1974 A76 I think. Their version of the Gibson L5.

Very nice arrangement ..you're resting the guitar on the wrong knee tho man!! ..only joking!! ..I've always thought a heavy version of Harry's Game would be worth exploring 🤔

What would be the note for the bass pedal?
@alanplummerguitar2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I've written it with a C major triad as the first chord, so a C. But, any of the 6 notes would 'work', for want of a better word
