Ian Doyle is not so much someone who'll start an argument in an empty room. He's more someone who'll start an argument about the argument that he'd start an argument in an empty room. He's almost a national treasure.

Ian Doyle revels in being a obstinate knob. He totally spoils what could be a good podcast. Put Paul in charge.

If City get away with the charges then the other top PL clubs should force a breakaway league. Simple as that.
@potjhm1Күн бұрын
Clubs should take unilateral action & sanction MC. Refuse to honour fixtures against them from next season. Leave MC in limbo without a league to play in. Then the PL will have to act.

Best team in the world? I think Real Madrid are more clinical than Liverpool up top. If Salah doesn't score, Liverpool don't have reliable finishers. Atletico Madrid are strong this season and would be hard to knock out over 2 legs. Barcelona are powerful in attack but dodgy in defence. Inter Milan are tactically strong. Bayern are never easy, but Kompany isn't tactically elite. Liverpool are doing very well but if Jota stays injured, we aren't as clinical up top as we'll need to be.

Big claim? Of course we’re the best team I know this podcast well just Ian Doyle really thinks we’re crap but we’re actually pretty good at football.

This time last year we were flying and going for a quadruple, even up until mid March. We need to be cautious with praise. This video title should be in May when it could make sense.

Can anyone explain how Salah threaded a ball between to Brentford players, and Gapko had all the goals to put it in from 6 yards and it trickled a yard by the post . That is the worse miss I have seen in seasons. Does that scrutiny or do you just ignore that? Gapko is a good player and will miss, but then there is no scrutiny. Where the weakness is though is Neither Gapko or Salah get back and defend, they only go forward and that in slots system means we get mothered by the opposition
@JohnGammons-j7j5 күн бұрын
Both of your comments on the Lad Darwin Nunez are highly critical and unwarranted. Nunez minutes work out to be 8.3 matches in the EPL, and only half in the supposed number 9. Remind me who ran from his own 18 yard area 60 yard , took the ball from Sloz on the half way line and then slotted a pass between 4 Arsenal players for Salah to score and gain a pint, depriving Arsenal of all 3, which if that Nunez contribution, would mean we are 3 point clear of Arsenal not 6. Villa game LFC were under the cosh, hanging on to a 1 goal lead and Nunez did stop running when Salah was hauled down by the solders and arms, he carried on and finished it from a tight angle. Nunez got 12 minutes V Fulham on the left side, held of 2 challenges beat his man and laid it on for Jota, a point gained. Nunez as 4 goals, won the points at Brentford. Gapko as 6 goals, from 1668 minutes, that equals 13 games, he as only 2 more than Nunez but from 5 more games if you work per minutes on played in matches- both have 2 assists.. That technically means Nunez contributions in goals and assists in the EPL is 5 points..LFC best run last season was front 3 of Diaz, Jota, Nunez and that is fact

So would you keep him and play him every game?
@JohnGammons-j7j5 күн бұрын
@@redmed10 I would not hesitate in keeping him, and I know if he went to like a Barcelona, Dortmud, he would come back and put VVD Konate on there backsides all over again. For me his biggest strength is when the ball is played in front of him and he will take all the knocks and pass to Salah, Jota, Gapko. I do not think any of our forwards warrant a start every game, and I have watched Nunez at Almeria, Benfica, where he played in a two up front.. He is so effective from the right side inside of Salah and they can interchange like at Arsenal. Slot system as faltered in the attacking areas, perfect example was Saturday, Slt says 37 attempts, well he actually said 37 shot on goal. That was way out we had 8 on target, that was dreadful , as 29 were not on target. I am still in disbelief at how Cody misses such a easy goal, but it happens. Key here is Nunez did not set the fee he was brought at, united forced that price up by 25 million and todate we have only paid £74 million. You ask Jota and Salah who they want to play with and both say Nunez, but that is because he does the dirty work and takes a battering. Nunez feels he as to live upto the price tag, the pressure is on him everytime he step out because of expectations. Nunez actually does defend and that is something none of our forwards bar Diaz do, ..Play him every week, or every game, that is a non question because Slot will not do that, but as left Salah on the pitch in the last few games when he should have been yanked off. Elliott should be used, and as not been equally. Games and schedules dictate games to be played. Going forward, I would left Salah, Go, Diaz will go because of his poor wages, and I would stick with Gapko , Jota, Nunez, attempt to buy Buemo from Brentord who we should have brought when Firmnio left, and then see if we need another or Danns comes through
@whatmatters6835 күн бұрын
Guessing your not a LFC supporter if you want Nunez to put our defenders on their backsides if he left. P.S Are you bored today, or has your teacher set your homework, "write an essay about your favourite footballer" and you decided on 2
