33yrs driving hgvs and still remember starting out as an 18yr old was told mirror's mirrors can never watch them enough ,no checking them here no seat belt and nearly horizontal driving position,lots of others pointing it out too,best of luck to ya nice young lady .

That driving position and lots of steering with one hand just ain't right. Shows a lack of awareness of what it is that she is in charge of.

Dwayne I'd take this video down if I was you, because both of you could be charged with not wearing seatbelts if a policeman watches this video. It's a £500 fine for each of you + 3 penalty points I believe. Also hope her boss doesn't watch this, as he should be pushing safe driving practices for all his drivers and this video isn't a good look. This also could mean the heavy vehicle inspectors could be brought in as well and go over all his trucks for road worthiness. Not sure how it all works over there in Ireland, but would and has happened here in Australia.

Its not just the amenities for female drivers need sorted, the facilities for all hgv drivers are disgraceful almost everywhere you go especially arcoss the shuck where you are expected to pay stupid prices for the pleasure but only if you're in before 4.30 pm after that its near impossible

I'm sorry but if you are a professional driver you must wear that seat belt and make the passenger wear his, the way you are laying back in the seat is scary. I'm not here to make any personal attacks just another driver with alot of years behind them. Don't learn the hard way ! buckle up and straighten up. All the best.
