They actually were very run/pass balanced last year, until they pulled away in games and then started to run the ball. For instance, week 1. First half attempts 21 pass to 17 runs. The second half there was 1 pass then 1 run which resulted in the 65 yd TD run. After that, the score was 27-7 and they then passed 7 times to 14 runs.

I don't remember the Chiefs fumbling 5 times. Maybe they counted some of those bad snaps from our center as fumbles.

And still the Kansas City Defense gets no credit for holding down the 49ers.

Purdy made some bad throws too and he did not make plays when they had to be made.Purdy is not THAT guy,he is good but nowhere near elite.
@davidsoria770113 күн бұрын
If Purdy played well enough to win he woulda made a couple more plays,ala after the INT or on the two 3rd down blitzes,Great QB's make plays.

The Chiefs were NOT the concensus pick. Every analyst in America picked the 49ers. The Chiefs used the 49ers agressive overpursuit on defense against them. It's chess, not checkers.

I’m here for this. Pearsall should wear 10, 19 or 88. Cowing is a small, fast WR, I think he’d look good wearing a single number like 6, but 2 would better. Green should get 28 but 26 is more likely, Lucas is just a practice squad guy. 20 or 32 might be alright for Guerendo. Puni would be better with a 67. Mustafa maybe 33? PS Deebo was drafted in the ‘19 draft…I also enjoyed the big bad D linemen of the 1970s like Joe Greene who rocked 75, that’s way better than wearing 93

If a CB or DT they want falls I can see them taking them first as they will play in 2024, but if they do that they better be prepared to trade back up in the 2nd round if they want to get even a decent developmental OT.
@richardgiles56082 ай бұрын
49ers surely can't go receiver In the first round if Aiyuk isn't traded as he won't play or will play very little in 2024, it might even be worse than getting a developmental tackle as in that situation if they improve there is at least a chance they could take over during the season where as you would have to bench one of your top players to put a receiver in.

4 questions for Biderman that i bet he cant answer. 1. Greatest center in 49ers history? 2. When was he taken in the draft? 3. When was Jason Kelce taken in the draft? 4. Name one HOF center in the last 40 yrs taken in 1st rd.

I think it would be wise to draft a DB or two because Lenoir, Ward and Hufanga are UFAs in 2025.
@rollingwiththeroches3 ай бұрын
It really easy what they need Oline , secondary, DLine/dline depth. I would say those are their top three needs in that order. Then you can do whatever you want with WR maybe a TE or any random position.
@leftymo3 ай бұрын
Biderman was a little off in this episode. He makes a claim that the needs of now arent the needs during the season? Without any evidence to support such a claim. Last spring the 49ers needed edge rusher and oline help along w backup safety. During the season thats precisely what they still needed and traded and signed players for those needs. You do realize kyle refuses to play most of his rookies and the main reason why SF needs a CB is bc the entire secondary are up for contracts next yr. (Lenior, Ward, Hufanga, and Ambry). And no they arent taking 3 CBs or 3 Dlineman with their first 6 picks. Of all the niner content creators i feel like these guys do shrooms before each episode. 😂

I think Biderman was high as shit on this podcast. Seriously stoned. Biderman, "I don't know what these guys make" also Biderman, "Jed york is paying all of these guys insert $$ figure here". lol. Madson's ironic sense of humor doesn't translate well on podcasts. It actually make you look ignorant about the team! hahahahha. Since both of you are actual journalists how about asking the real question. Was Staley interviewed as a prospective DC or as an Asst HC? Do your job!
